Tasting of local products to accompany the wines. Great value for money. Very nice chapel. 🥬🍉🧀 PEZENAS MARKET: Not to be missed, the Pézenas market takes place on Saturday mornings. There are plenty of good things (cheeses, fruits, vegetables, oysters, mussels, cold cuts, cooked dishes). Not to mention clothes, shoes, bags, etc. It's a pleasure to stroll through the aisles. There is also the small organic market in the square. 🏛️ MUSEUMS: You will find 4 museums in Pézenas. The International Toy Museum, the Boby Lapointe Museum, the Door Museum and the Vulliod Saint-Germain Museum. You will enjoy discovering their works so well preserved. 🛐 THE COLLEGIAL CHURCH OF SAINT-JEAN: Located in the center, do not hesitate to push the door of this old church. The stained glass windows are beautiful. You can visit the sacristy and discover a beautiful exhibition of religious objects. The organ is amazing, and you can visit the beautiful treasure room on the first floor. NEARBY: 🏞️ - BESSILES PARK: located 15 min by car – Relaxation and leisure area, shaded parking, picnic area with toilets, playground, fitness course, multi-sports field, 300-seat green theater, meadow, educational landscape course in the heart of the park, mini-golf (with its own equipment or rental July/August). But also for athletes (hiking, orienteering, mountain biking area). 🏞️ - LAC DU SALAGOU: located 25 min by car – For nature lovers it is a must-see place to visit to recharge your batteries in a breathtaking landscape. These arid landscapes and this red earth will take you on a journey. You can also swim if the weather permits 😊 Paddle spot, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding etc. 🏙️ - BEZIERS: located 25 minutes by car, don't miss the 9 Écluses de Fonséranes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 💧 - ETANG DE THAU: The most direct access to discover the Etang de Thau from Pézenas is in the municipality of MEZE. It takes 25 minutes by car to get there. You can taste the local dishes, the famous tielle, and the oysters of the oyster farmers on site. The Mèze market takes place on Thursday and Sunday mornings. 🌊 - MEDITERRANEAN SEA: The nearest beach is in MARSEILLAN. This small family-friendly seaside resort is just a 25-minute drive away. - ABBAYE DE VALMAGNE: located 25 min by car. Ancient Benedictine abbey surrounded by vineyards.
