In the heart of the Perche and its renowned state-owned forests, just 1 hr 45 min from Paris, come and recharge your batteries in our peaceful and comfortable 17th-century stone house. Its more than 200 m², fully at your disposal, have been carefully restored, respecting the materials of yesteryear. The place is furnished to provide you with all the comforts you need throughout the four seasons. The space With a capacity of up to 12 people, the successive spaces offer an authentic, poetic and intimate setting for your stay with family or friends. Indeed, both the interiors and the exteriors offer a rich palette of spaces, so that every moment and every desire has a place to be expressed. The decor combines a cozy countryside spirit with a more unique artistic and poetic journey, giving the place a soul that belongs only to it. The property is nestled in the heart of a vast English-style landscaped garden, planted with majestic trees of many species: oaks, weeping willows, maples, chestnuts, hazelnuts, cedars, ash trees, cherry trees, and pear trees. You can relax while strolling from the rose garden to the orchard, passing by the small pond or one of the many flower-filled nooks, which are veritable preserved havens where the local biodiversity flourishes. You will have the opportunity to pick and create a lovely bouquet as the many varieties of flowers arranged throughout the property bloom. As an aside, guests told us about memorable egg hunts! Every space has been carefully thought out. The kitchen is generously equipped with utensils and appliances (MIELE and SIEMENS brands), including raclette, fondue, and crêpe makers, as well as a Magimix food processor. We also took special care in choosing the dishes, made of Portuguese stoneware, to tastefully and characterfully complement your moments of togetherness around meals. The living room features a very large projection screen, with possible access to various streaming platforms, as well as a sound bar to guarantee an immersive experience of your favorite movies. Its library contains a wide variety of books, from detective novels to poetry and classical literature, which you can browse for a quiet moment of reading, nestled in the softness of the large sofa. Musicians will appreciate the presence of a piano, which is tuned twice a year by Nathanaël, whose reputation is well established in the area. You can also liven up your evenings with the magic of a wood fire in our two fireplaces. We provide firewood to our guests free of charge. In winter, thermal comfort is provided by a heat pump. Upstairs, the bedrooms, with very comfortable bedding, fitted with cotton percale sheets and hotel-standard pillows, each have their own identity. All have a view of nature, without being overlooked in the slightest. Three charming bathrooms are at your disposal, offering all the comforts necessary for their use during your stay. The dormitory is designed to accommodate the games and dreams of the youngest children; its large space is particularly suitable for the shared time of the youngest children, for unforgettable memories. Of course, the beds are made for your arrival, and a set of bath towels per person is provided. A large travertine terrace facing the valley, due west, allows you to enjoy the view overlooking the garden and its large pond with water lilies and water hyacinths. Its large table is perfect for summer dinners that linger in the mild evenings in the great outdoors. Also, a barbecue allows you to prepare your favorite grilled dishes. Below is the elegant saltwater pool, with its travertine terrace, deckchairs and umbrellas, for cooling off or simply lounging. It is heated and accessible from May until the end of September. The property is ideally located to explore the area, which is full of opportunities for activities, such as cultural or gourmet outings! For example, you can visit the typical villages of the region, such as Bellême, just a 15-minute drive away. Because a weekend can go by very quickly, we accept late check-outs whenever possible.
