"Au Moulin du Miech" offers you a unique stay in the heart of Occitan Tuscany. We welcome you to a barn completely renovated by us with respect for the environment and the old building: ecological materials and renewable energies (raw earth wall, lime plaster, straw insulation, solar hot water). The space Characterful house nestled in the Tescou Valley in the heart of Occitan Tuscany. The large living-dining room easily accommodates more than fifteen guests to share special moments with family or friends. The library is full of books and games available for both children and adults. Two baby cots and 3 high chairs can be provided. Please let us know before your stay! A large, fully equipped kitchen allows several people to cook simultaneously in optimal comfort, promoting moments of conviviality. The house has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms: · One bedroom with a 200 x 200 cm bed and a private bathroom · One bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed, sauna, private bathroom and terrace · A bedroom accessible to people with reduced mobility with a 160 x 200 cm bed, bathroom, toilet and private terrace · A bedroom with a 140x200 bed, two single beds and a private terrace · A bedroom with a 140 x 200 bed · One bedroom with a 140 x 200 cm bed and a single bed. · One bedroom with two single beds. · Two separate bathrooms There is a mezzanine upstairs with a sofa, TV and a large desk (with computer screens). The southeast terrace is equipped with garden furniture, a dining table and a large barbecue. The 4m diameter by 1.2m deep above ground pool is located to the west of the house, from where you can admire the sunsets. All the terraces are shaded by stretched canvases. A trampoline, a sandbox, a play structure with a slide and swings are available for children, as well as balance bikes and small bicycles. Other things to note What you'll love about the neighborhood The house is located in the countryside, in the middle between fields, woods and a river. The pretty village of Salvagnac, perched on a hill, is 4 km away, and there you will find all amenities (grocery store, bakery, cultural café-bar, etc.). Many remarkable sites can be discovered within a 45-minute drive: Albi (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Montauban, Penne, Rabastens, Lisle-sur-Tarn, and 6 of the most beautiful villages in France: Puycelsi, Castelnau-de-Montmirail, Bruniquel, Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, Cordes-sur-Ciel, and Lautrec. The river borders the property, and the kids love to go there and throw stones. Unfortunately, in summer the water flow is very low and not enough for swimming. Less than 15km away is a large leisure center with a lake, swimming pool, slides and inflatable games: Monclar de Quercy Leisure Center. Hiking or biking is possible from the house or the surrounding villages. There are several traditional markets to discover in the surrounding area: · Sunday morning in Lisle sur Tarn (15 min) or in Saint Antonin Noble Val (45 min), a large market in one of the most beautiful villages in France · Wednesday morning in Salvagnac (greengrocer and butcher) 5 minutes away · Wednesday evening in Salvagnac: Market of organic and local producers and possibility of on-site dining. We recommend it, with a good atmosphere and a bar at the edge of the world that's open for a drink! · Thursday morning in Monclar de Quercy (15 min) · Friday evening in Les Barrières (10 min): Local producers' market and option for on-site dining · Saturday morning in Rabastens (20 min)
