Perfect for families seeking rest, surrounded by hiking trails, charming villages and the beautiful landscapes of Southern Burgundy. The space 🇬🇧 Welcome to Pannonica – A countryside home on a small family farm Our house is located in Montagny-sur-Grosne, in a peaceful, rural setting surrounded by fields and nature. It is part of a working farm where we live as a family, in the converted barn next door. We lead a simple and joyful life, balancing artistic creation and small-scale farming: we raise chickens, keep bees, and will soon welcome horses. We are not professional hosts, but a family of musicians and farmers. We renovated this house with care and love, offering a warm, unpretentious space. The house is spacious and can accommodate up to 12 guests. It includes five bedrooms with various sleeping arrangements (double beds, single beds, a traditional Japanese futon for two, and a sofa bed). Some rooms are connected, others are independent – perfect for family stays. There is also a workspace and a children’s play area. Outside, you’ll find a large, slightly wild garden shared with our animals: rare-breed chickens, bees, a sweet rabbit, friendly cats, an old gentle dog and a young, affectionate (but still clumsy) puppy. All our animals roam freely and live in harmony around the house. The garden includes tables, a barbecue, a swing, a trampoline, and a small pond with frogs. The surrounding countryside is full of discoveries, ideal for walks, nature lovers, and peaceful family time. We’ll welcome you simply and sincerely into our little haven of peace. Welcome to our home. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, the shared garden, and all outdoor amenities (swing, trampoline, barbecue…). Parking is available below the house, near the green gate (with sign), and a standard plug is available for EV charging. Please do not park in the courtyard. Check-in is usually from 3:00 PM. Please call or text us about 30 minutes before you arrive — we’ll meet you to hand over the keys. Our dogs might bark when you arrive, but don’t worry — they’re friendly! The old border collie is very calm, and the young one (still learning) is sweet but a bit clumsy. Other things to note You will stay in a family home located in the heart of a small living farm, with a peasant agricultural activity on a human scale. Here we raise old breed hens, we have beehives, cats, a very gentle dog, a playful young dog, a rabbit, and soon… horses! It is a place of life shared with humans and animals, in an approach that respects the environment and biodiversity. The grasses can be tall, the flowers are often wild, the insects numerous, and that's just what we like. Paths are maintained to ensure easy and pleasant circulation in the garden. It's a great opportunity to discover (or rediscover) life in the countryside, in a simple, joyful and lively setting. Children love to watch animals, collect eggs or look for frogs around the pond. We will be happy to discuss our activities with you, let you taste our fresh eggs, and share our tips for discovering the region.
