Fully equipped apartment. Linens not provided, optional. The space With family or friends, your stay will take place in a quiet, comfortable and welcoming place, with refined decoration. Completely renovated, it has a large living room with wood-burning stove, a modern kitchen and 1 bedroom. You can also enjoy a terrace accessible through the kitchen, or through the bay window located in the bedroom with panoramic south-facing views, for your moments of sharing and relaxation. In summer and winter, the temperature is pleasant. The terrace has a table and chairs for outdoor dining, and a barbecue is at your disposal. We will gladly inform you about the activities and discoveries of this Pyrenees paradise. Located within walking distance, the renowned grocery store/delicatessen (Casa Het) in the village of Gerde offers delicious homemade, local and artisanal products. Listing description (for 2-4 people max): - Living room (living/dining room) with a single bed serving as a sofa (90 x 190). Storage spaces. - Fully equipped kitchen with small adjoining airlock - 1 bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190). Duvets and pillows provided. Sheets NOT provided (extra if needed) - A toilet -Bathroom with sink and shower. Adjacent to the bedroom. Kitchen: Microwave, dishwasher, raclette machine, kettle, gas stove, classic oven, dishes, various accessories... Parking space possible in front of the house, or in the cul-de-sac against the hedge of the house. The accommodation is equipped with Wi-Fi and the connection to the general mobile network is very good. Games and reading material are available. Guest access You can also enjoy a large terrace accessible through the kitchen, or through the bay window located in the bedroom with panoramic south-facing view, for your moments of sharing and relaxation. In both summer and winter, the temperature is pleasant. The terrace has a table and chairs for outdoor dining, a barbecue is at your disposal. The garden remains reserved for the owners (We grow some crops there) Other things to note MAIN ACTIVITIES: Departure for hikes and walks in the forest from the accommodation. -In all seasons: An exceptional playground for hiking, road biking, mountain biking, trail... More quietly, discovery of the natural and cultural heritage, especially in Bagnères de Bigorre: large market on Saturday morning, thermal spa, municipal swimming pool, theaters, museum, media library. Excursion to Pic du Midi on foot or by cable car. Observation of the starry sky, the deer rutting season... - Winter specific: Tobogganing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing... There is no shortage of activities as well as iconic places nearby: Lac de Payolle (20 minutes), La Mongie/Grand Tourmalet ski resort (25 minutes), Col d'Azin (30 minutes), Beaudéan Valley (20 minutes), Paysages et Villages des Baronnies… In summary: Unspoiled nature, Quiet, Warm decor... RULES OF USE: - No smoking - The accommodation is a place to relax with respect for the interior and exterior - No noise outside after 11pm - Check-in is anytime after 3pm and checkout is before 11am – linens (sheets, dish towels, towels are not provided (Unless specifically requested). Beds equipped with pillows and duvets - No pets allowed - A deposit is required before the stay for long stays - Cleaning will be done by you (Products and utensils available), or an external service may be requested. - Finally, the stove is just for decoration. Functional but not very efficient. It's your responsibility. You can bring some dry wood or find it in small bundles at the Intermarché or Bricomarche in Pouzac.
