Large country house for up to 4 guests in the **WINTERSEASON and up to 6 guests in the **Summer SEASON (see below) The detached house with a wide garden is located very quietly on a hill in one of the hamlets of Taintrux. Saint-Dié-des-Vosges is about 12 minutes near by car, Col de Bonhomme and Gérardmer about 30 minutes. The space Framed by flowering ornamental bushes, lush wisteria and trees with silver lichen (“Bois d’Argent” - silverwood), the property which covers over 3,000 m², features a garden with a small wooded area. Two terraces are furnished with comfortable outdoor furniture and a gas barbecue. A hammock invites you to relax in the shade on sunny days and enjoy the sunset on warm evenings. The heatable winter garden in the middle of the green looks through the birch trees into the Vosges. Do you like cooking? Then you will appreciate the 'Bocuse' gas stove with two electric ovens and the stylish dinner service. In summer, comfortable lounge furniture invites you to sit on the picturesque terrace. In winter, the cozy wood fire of the 'Godin' stove beckons you to the comfortable sofa in the salon - with music from vinyl or the Bluetooth box. The open bedroom 1) with a large king-size bed (180 x 200 cm) is adjacent to the living room - perhaps the sun will greet you through the fig tree in the morning? The cozy bedroom 2) with a wide queen-size bed (140 x 200 cm) has direct access to the bathroom with shower and toilet. The bathroom has a second entrance from the hallway. There is space for one car or two motorcycles in the carport and up to 3 cars in the driveway. Bicycles can be parked in the garden house upon request. Mountain bike can be booked! In the upper garden you will find a second seating area with a parasol, a hammock and the outdoor games "Viking Chess", "Cornhole" as well as lawn tennis and badminton equipment and a volleyball and a football. The extensive property with lush bushes and trees is largely inaccessible, has no direct neighborhood and no fence. **SUMMER SEASON May 1st - 30th September: Up to 6 people can book, as the non-heated summer rooms in the annex are used in the warm season. In the extension, floor-to-ceiling windows and direct access to the garden provide close proximity to nature. In the summer bedroom 3), a king-size bed in country house style (2 x 90 x 200 cm) and spacious closets ensure stylish comfort. An arched passage leads into the summer salon, where you can sit in the cozy seating area with a two-seater sofa and wicker chair or at the desk behind the large window fronts as if in the garden. Please note: ~ Bedroom 2) automatically becomes a walk-through room when using the summer rooms. ~ In night you could hear cat or marten paws on the roof of the summer rooms ;)) ~ When booking the summer rooms, the rest of the house is available as usual (about 100 m2 in total). Guest access You can CHECK-IN independently and at your leisure: A key box with the house key is located at the side entrance. And on the kitchen table you will find the guest book with all the important information about the house. If you have any further questions, we are available immediately! ~ On the morning of your arrival, you will receive a text message with the code for the key box (at dusk or in the dark, please use the torch on your mobile phone to set the numbers!). ~ The key opens the front door (not the side door)! ~ For CHECK-OUT, please contact Roseline only if necessary (breakage, damage, dirt, etc.). Please return the house key to the key box on the morning of your departure. Other things to note Please note: ~ Barrier: There is a step between some rooms in the house and annex. ~ Season: As described above, only up to 4 people can book from 1 November to 31 March! ~ Wi-Fi: There is a Wi-Fi connection in the conservatory via a mobile router (200 GB). The mobile network fluctuates between 3G and 4G quality. The data volume can be increased on request. ~ E-mobility: Nearby charging stations are located 1.8 km away at the town hall in Taintrux and 5.7 km away in Saint-Dié, Les Moitresses. A shuttle can be organised. ~ In the cottage with a baby: A travel cot (60 x 120 cm) with a mattress insert is available. (For hygiene reasons, please bring your own mattress or soft pad!) A high chair for the dining area is also provided. ~ In the cottage with a dog: Please ensure that sofas, armchairs and beds are off limits to dogs and that carpets are covered with blankets (two blankets are provided). Dog waste must be collected on the property (dog waste bags can be found in the bin in the carport)! ~ BBQ and open fires: Due to the risk of fire, open fires are prohibited throughout the premises. A gas barbecue is available for your use on the front terrace. Please clean the barbecue after use and cover it again as intended to protect it from the rain – thank you very much! ~ Wood-burning stove: When temperatures drop below 10 degrees, heating with the stove can help to create a cosy warmth. Wood is included in the price from October to April. ~ Electricity consumption: Electricity and heating costs above the average consumption of €20 per day may be charged.
