Description
Below the vineyards, our cottage-like gîte is quiet, along a communal path often used by hikers. We have completely redone the accommodation, and have taken great care with the decor. Facing east-west, you can enjoy the sun throughout the day. Very quiet, it is located away from the main road. Golf nearby, wine tastings, local markets, castles, zoo, and even shopping in Tours! You'll have plenty of activities to choose from. The space No problem parking upon arrival! Parking is reserved for your car in the shade of the walnut tree to the left of the house. Upon entering the house, you will find a living-dining area with an American kitchen located just to the left as you enter. The kitchen is equipped with a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, Bodum push-button coffee machine, teapot and toaster. A few tea bags and coffee capsules are left for you to start your stay peacefully. The kitchen has all the equipment for cooking and having pleasant family meals. A large-capacity fridge-freezer will allow you to store your food. A cupboard with oil, salt, pepper, vinegar is available. A wood-burning stove installed in the living room area will allow you to enjoy your evenings by the fire in winter. The heating is central heating, so the house is well heated when the cold weather sets in. A bathroom, a separate toilet and a washing machine and dryer area are accessible on the ground floor. On the other side of the living room, a bedroom with a double bed, a desk and a storage cabinet. A French window opens to the outside from this room. Board games, books and comics are available in the living room area, as well as a TV and DVD player. We have also provided a Sonos speaker for you to listen to music. A Molky and a Corn-Hole will allow you to play outdoors. Unfortunately, please note that the WIFI is currently only available using a 4G key, the speed is not sufficient to ensure teleworking. We hope to be connected to fiber soon! Upstairs, a small landing serves two bedrooms with twin beds, the first bedroom can be used either as separate beds or as a double bed. The other bedroom is dedicated to children with a small shelf of books and games available. One bedroom overlooks the vineyards, the other overlooks the trees. The accommodation is very quiet as there is no traffic near the house. The house is along the communal road and you will only see walkers on foot, on horseback, by bicycle or with a donkey! On sunny days, we set up a table and chairs for lunch outdoors, an umbrella, deckchairs and a barbecue. You will have sun all day as the house is east-west facing. A true haven of peace! Our house is on the other side of the porch, so we are not adjoining. Even if we don't live there year-round, we are there during the school holidays and spend time there during the week because we don't live far away. You will have full enjoyment of the vineyard-side meadow located west where you will find deckchairs, barbecue, outdoor dining and umbrella. A small bistro table and 2 chairs with a small parasol are also installed in fine weather in front of the kitchen to enjoy the morning sun. Linen costs include sheets, bath towels, as well as dish towels for the kitchen. Guest access The entire property is at your disposal. This house is located at the entrance of our property, we have a private part on the other side of the porch and always take care not to disturb our tenants. Other things to note Walking from the house: You can reach the Château de Cheverny or Troussay, go and taste the wines of the neighboring estates, in particular the Domaine du Portail located right next door. You can also hike, walk, bike, ride a horse or donkey: many paths and other GRs pass by the house. In the heart of the "Land of Castles", a tourist destination recognized for its prestigious castles, such as those of Chambord, Cheverny, Chenonceau, Amboise, Blois or Chaumont-sur-Loire, which mark the belonging of this territory to the Loire Valley, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. The surroundings offer many activities: in addition to the castles and Beauval Zoo, you can also enjoy the natural swimming pool of the Grand Chambord, go swimming on the banks of the Cher, visit mushroom farms, an educational farm, Saint Michel biscuit-making workshops or Max Vauché chocolate workshops... In the spring, take part in the Cheverny marathon, our house is in the heart of the routes. In summer, enjoy the sound and light of the Château de Blois, in September, come and taste the wines of local winegrowers during the harvest festival!
