Characterful 1834 stone house, 150 m², fully renovated and air-conditioned, in the heart of the Quercy countryside. Private 1-hectare park with 2 heated pools, a spa and outdoor games. 4-star gîte, sleeps 7, 3 bedrooms. The space Set over 2 floors: • Ground floor: 70 m² living area — lounge (two 3-seater sofas + 160x200 cm alcove bed), dining room, open-plan kitchen, toilet with washbasin. Reversible air conditioning and fireplace. • Upstairs: 2 master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom (flexible 90x200 cm beds → 180x200 cm double) + 1 bedroom with a single bed (90x200 cm). Reversible air conditioning in every bedroom. • Bed linen and towels provided at no extra charge (2 pillows per person). Tea towels, cleaning products and basic condiments included. Guest access You have the whole of gîte La Gariotte to yourselves, over both floors, plus a private furnished terrace with barbecues for your exclusive use. Shared with guests of the neighbouring gîte La Cazelle: • 2 heated pools: 9 x 5 m (1.40 m deep, safety roller cover) and 4 x 6 m (1.20 m deep). • Spa for 6-8 people. • Outdoor games (football, volleyball, badminton, skittles) and a converted barn with reception and games room (ping-pong, table football, billiards, darts). • Free parking in the park, right next to the house. We live nearby and are always available to welcome you and point you to the best of the Quercy — while fully respecting your privacy. Other things to note From Orniac, the best of the Lot is within easy reach: • Pech Merle cave (10 min) — famous prehistoric paintings, advance booking essential. • Saint-Cirq-Lapopie (15 min) — one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, voted the French people's favourite village in 2012. • Kayaking on the Lot and Célé rivers — rentals in Conduché (10 min); climbing, caving and diving also available. • Bouziès (15 min) — the Château des Anglais built into the cliff, boat trips. • Cuzals open-air museum (a few km away) — Quercy farming heritage, summer events. • Cabrerets (5 min) — restaurants and grocery shop. • Cahors (35 min) — Valentré bridge, markets on Wednesday and Saturday, all shops. • Figeac (30 min) — Saturday morning market, Champollion Museum. • Rocamadour (30 min) — medieval town clinging to the cliff.
