Serenity Cedars Cottage - at Lily Point Park

The cottage is closer to Vancouver Canada then most of the suburbs of this magnificent city. Your little slice of heaven is nestled in a grove of magnificent cedars. For sounds only the occasional screech of an eagle as it soars high over head or perhaps the soothing rustle of the wind through the cedars. Relax around a cozy gas fireplace and recharge. Your next door neighbor is a 250 acre park with walking trails leading down to one mile of secluded pacific beach. The space This is the second cottage at Lily Point Park Lodges. Built from the ground up to be an incredible vacation / relaxation getaway, we think you will be 'transformed' just by the experience of being here. The cottage is a wonder of architectural design. With 49 windows it cradles you in a special environment that mixes indoors with an serene natural setting. Your cottage has an incredible living room with a lush comfortable sectional for two and a focal point of a stained glass alcove that makes your space feel almost spiritual. The galley kitchen is fully appointed and stocked for great meals. The bedroom has a queen bed with more stained glass and a skylight to give you a view of the magnificent cedars that surround the cottage. The bathroom / solarium features a clawfoot tub and super fast continuous hot water supply. A soak in the tub surrounded by glass block walls is a sensational and sensual almost surreal adventure in relaxation. There is a small loft with a double bed accessible by a ladder. Linens can be supplied on request. Your cottage is part of Lily Point Park Lodges. Five hand-crafted cottages, designed and built by your host. Each one totally unique. We have recently added a new space for our guests that we call the 'Spirit Lodge' (see the pictures). With the Spirit Lodge we have tried to create an indoor / outdoor space that you can use to relax and entertain in. It also features a infrared sauna where you can melt away any aches and pains. The cottage is in Point Roberts. Although we are in the US, we are closer to downtown Vancouver BC than most of the suburbs of Vancouver. A day trip into Vancouver is a wonderful experience. If you're thinking of working remotely, Point Roberts could be the best choice. Point Roberts has some unique advantages. First and foremost you are in the United States AND you are only a few minutes away from one of the great international cites, Vancouver Canada. Where else can you find a world class nature experience virtually next door to an exciting foreign metropolis. And remember that the Canadian dollar is at an all time low against the US dollar. So you have all the excitement of Vancouver and also Whistler mountain with its amazing 36 gondolas and chairs (only 2.5 hours) away. And don’t forget Seattle, also only 2.5 hours away. We also have a major regional shopping center (15 minutes drive). Our Canadian neighbor Tsawwassen (7 minutes drive) has over 50 good restaurants. Your cottage has its own internet high speed access point. We have had many guests working remotely over the last few years. We are about 30 minutes from Vancouver International Airport. We are also twenty minutes from one the terminals of the largest ferry system in the world at Tsawwassen BC. From there you can venture all the way up the northern pacific coast to Haida Gwaii, the legendary Island home of the Haida first nation When you have that little slice of free time you want to make it as satisfying as possible. We want to help you have an experience that you can look forward to, experience to the fullest and then savor in your memory. The first thing you notice when arrive is the sound. You know right away that you are someplace special. You can just totally relax with hot baths, saunas and hikes in the park or you can use the cottage as your base to explore exciting Vancouver BC or even the nearby islands (the gulf islands ferry terminal is only a few minutes away).
