The space For rent for your holiday, country home located in Sorèze. In a wooded environment, you will have a garden of 3000 m² with a swimming pool secured by an alarm to the standards in force, where you will have plenty of time to enjoy with your family. On site you will have garden furniture and furniture, sunbed and shaded spaces. A barbecue is at your disposal as well as outdoor games (molky, giant mikado and petanque balls). Parking space is available for several vehicles in front of the house. The house includes a large bright living room of 66m² with a TV lounge, a dining area with a large table and 8 chairs (additional chairs available) and an open kitchen equipped with a gas cooking piano, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and extractor hood communicating with a laundry room/back kitchen including a washing machine and an annex kitchen (oven and induction hobs). There are toilets on the ground floor. A sleeping area on the ground floor serves a master suite with a queen bed, dressing room and open shower room with two basins and toilets; two other bedrooms with a single bed each (an additional mattress + single box spring can be added in each of the single bedrooms, see photos) and closets; a bathroom with a bath and shower. Upstairs is a mezzanine with our offices (condemned for rental) then a whole independent space composed of a crossing bedroom with a 140 bed, a shower room with toilet and a large room with comfortable sofa bed, mini fridge and microwave oven. IMPORTANT: Bath towels are not provided. Linens, bath mats, dish towels are provided as well as the basics (salt, pepper, sponge, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, oil and vinegar). The end of stay cleaning can be done by the tenants or taken care of by the owners for a flat fee of €150. A security deposit in the amount of €1500 will be required upon arrival and will be returned within 7 days of checkout. This amount will not be collected. In Sorèze, a short walk from the house, you'll find a Super U (with gas station) as well as a bakery. There are several restaurants in the village. In Revel you will find 5 minutes drive, all shops (bakery, butcher, pharmacy and supermarket) and its famous market on Saturday mornings. The first hiking trails are within walking distance from the house at the foot of the Black Mountain. The top of Berniquaut overlooks the village and can be reached in an hour's walk from the house, offering a 360° panorama of the entire region. The pretty city of Sorèze is located at the foot of the vast forest massif of the Montagne Noire. This village of character grew up around its Benedictine abbey. This monument classified with a prestigious past offers you a museum course that will take you from the Cour des Rouges to the Salle des Illustres, from the classrooms to the students' dormitories and the centenary park of 6 hectares that serves as a natural setting for the monumental architecture of this prestigious place. A 20th century tapestry museum opened since April 2015, the Dom Robert Museum, is integrated into the Abbey-School site. Lake St Ferréol is a 5 minute drive away and will allow you to enjoy the leisure base where there are plenty of entertainment: you will have access to the beach (supervised swimming July/August), bike paths, woods, shaded meadows, arboretum, various sports activities, tree climbing, mountain biking and mountain biking rental with electric assistance, mini golf, pedal boat, windsurfing, catamaran, canoeing, kayaking, trampoline, snack, bar, glacier... So great for a family day, for a picnic or a stroll! Relaxing place certainly, but historic though! The lake was laid out in the 17th century by Pierre Paul Riquet to feed the famous Canal du Midi. At the foot of the black mountain, the basin of St Ferréol is not far from many points of interest such as the Canal du Midi, the medieval city of Carcassonne (40min), the city of Castres (30min), Toulouse (45min) as well as many hiking trails that this mountain range can offer.
