The space The ground floor of this comfortable luxury home features a spacious, open concept modern chef’s kitchen seamlessly connected to a generous and comfortable living area, and a dining area with seating for 6. Also on the ground floor are two bedrooms, the first featuring a queen sized bed (with comfortable Leesa hybrid mattress), dressers, closet, seating area, and TV. Beautiful frosted glass and steel barn doors lead you to the second bedroom with two twin size beds. This room also has a large storage cabinet for clothes, and is also the perfect quiet space to roll out the yoga mat, or curl up with a good book. This room can be enjoyed with the barn doors open, or closed for privacy. The ground floor bathroom features a generous tub and shower. On the second floor is the stunning ocean view Primary Suite featuring a king-size bed with luxurious Tempur-pedic mattress, separate dressing area, and en-suite bathroom with shower. You will also find a private balcony, the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean. For families vacationing with infants there is a Pack-N-Play portable crib and high chair. You will enjoy sunsets and outdoor gatherings with friends and family on the expansive, and private back deck, which is seamlessly connected to the kitchen with a pass through window. The patio features three sofas, nestled around a cozy fire-pit. BBQ and enjoy al fresco meals around the outdoor family sized dining table, which boasts a table top fire-pit for warmth and ambiance. This whole outdoor space is beautifully illuminated at dusk with hanging solar lights. This comfortable home is also adorned with a lovely front lawn and trees, tucked behind a gated white picket fence, a perfect play area for the little ones. Bird Rock is a quiet, safe and peaceful family focused neighborhood, and this home is ideal for families, and those seeking a quiet and relaxing, rejuvenating retreat. We ask that you always keep noise to a minimum, out of respect for our neighbors. You will be within easy walking distance to Bird Rock’s wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, beauty salons, yoga studios and boutiques, as well as walking trails, beach trails, and a wonderful children’s playground. We also provide boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear and beach toys for your enjoyment and fun! You will be just a few minutes walk to a charming picnic spot overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and just a mile to both iconic Windansea Beach, and Tourmaline beach, and a quick 8 minute drive to La Jolla Shores, La Jolla Cove, or into the Village of La Jolla, which is home to world class cuisine, shopping and some of California’s most stunning beaches. Bird Rock is located just north of Pacific and Mission Beach, which offers a vibrant night life, and miles of white sandy beaches. We are just south of beautiful Del Mar, home to the Del Mar Fairgrounds and Racetrack, more beautiful beaches and a charming coastal towns. Sea World, and the world famous San Diego Zoo are both less than a 30 minutes drive. With everything La Jolla and its adjoining coastal towns have to offer, you will find Bird Rock the perfect vacation spot! Guest access Guests have full access to the large fenced front yard, the entire house and patio. Please enjoy the full kitchen, bbq and toasty fire pit. The Front Door is unlocked with a Yale Smart Lock, programmed with your unique code given after your booking is confirmed. Off limits are the garage, lower backyard and backyard guest house. All off limits areas are clearly marked and locked. There is no one living in the back of the property Gardeners visit every Thursday morning, and stay in the restricted area.
