Charming mountain cabin at Garen

Enjoy the silence on the terrace in front of the fire pit, with beautiful views of the river and mountains. Find the tranquility of hiking in nature that is in the immediate vicinity. There are excellent fishing opportunities in the river just below the cabin. The cabin is only a short walk away from Vøringsfossen, a very well-known attraction in Eidfjord. 20 minutes by car takes you to the center of Eidfjord. There is great hiking terrain around the cabin, and it is only a short drive to hiking opportunities on Hardangervidda Towels and bed linen must be brought. The space The cabin is from 1957. It was renovated in 2023 with new cladding, windows, insulation, running water and a new bathroom. The cabin is equipped with two bedrooms with a total of 6 beds. One bedroom is equipped with a double bed 180x210, and one bedroom has two bunk beds. There is a loft in the cabin, but it does not have full ceiling height. On the loft there are two rooms, one room with a sofa and one room with a double bed. The loft provides more beds, but it is not recommended to have more than 6 guests in the cabin. In the living room there is a corner sofa with room for many. There is also a dining table in the living room, it has room for four people. If the weather permits, you can eat your meals outside on the terrace, where there is room for more around the table. The cabin has a small kitchen equipped with the most necessary. The bathroom is brand new. The beds are equipped with good fiber duvets/pillows. Included in the daily rent: Firewood, Wi-Fi, electricity, dishwasher detergent and toilet paper. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin. As the cabin is used by our family, there will be private property in the cabin. We have tried to collect our belongings and put them in a room on the loft, in bags. Guests have access to lockers and access to storage of clothes. Other things to note It is about 70 meters to walk on a narrow path from the parking lot to the cabin. Recommend good shoes and backpacks/bags. Not suitable for rolling suitcase. Guests must bring their own beddings and towels. Guests must do their own laundry.
