A transformed farmhouse in the heart of downtown Chaska now available as a locally crafted furnished guest house for up to eight guests. Built in 1893 as a farmhouse in the brick making town of Chaska, Minnesota, the home was owned by three generations of the same family since 1923 when it was purchased for renovation in 2019. Now it’s been transformed and is ready to welcome guests! The space The goal was to retain the original foundation, framing and much of the floorplan. The hardwood floors on the first floor were brought back to life, a first-floor laundry and mud room was added, all the house systems were replaced, and the structural roof failures were addressed. A second-floor master suite was added out of a small bedroom A completely transformed home was born ready to welcome guests for the next 100 years! --BED & BATH-- Up to 8 guests can sleep comfortably in this lovely three-bedroom home: • Bedroom 1: 1 king bed, en-suite bathroom & walk-in closet • Bedroom 2: 1 queen bed • Bedroom 3: 1 single and single trundle bed • Living room: 1 full sized pull-out couch, large enough for 2 guests Sleep well on freshly laundered, high-quality bedding and wake up to natural light from the large windows. The home includes 2 full bathrooms and 1 powder room, so getting ready will be a breeze for everyone! The master bathroom has a large vanity top, toilet, and shower. Bathroom 2 includes sink, toilet, and shower/tub combo. And the half bath near the backyard includes a toilet and sink only. We provide toiletries, towels, and a hair dryer so you can pack light. --LIVING SPACE-- This restored farmhouse features a large, open kitchen with farmhouse sink, gas range, and the original hardwood floors.  The kitchen has everything you need for a home-cooked meal. Appliances include a refrigerator, freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker, and the cabinets are stocked with cookware, dishes, glasses, and utensils.  Dine in style at the elegant table for 8 or kick back in the living room, where you’ll find comfortable chaise sofa for seating. It’s the ideal spot to play a game, watch a movie on the flat-screen TV, or recap the day’s adventures. Step out to your private backyard and enjoy breakfast al fresco or wind down with a beverage at the end of the day. --ESSENTIALS-- The home is equipped with fast WiFi, heat, and central air conditioning for optimal comfort and connected-ness. A washer and dryer are located in the first floor mud room. You’ll only be a call or message away from our professional Minnestay team, who can provide recommendations or answer questions at any time. Other things to note *HOUSE RULES* • All guests must be over the age of 25, unless part of a family unit. Verification may be required. • All check-ins are contactless! To provide this service, we require a photo of yourself holding your ID to verify your identity, to be emailed or texted to our reservations department prior to check-in. No exceptions. (Please be aware that we do not have staff available to meet guests in person on site for this purpose.) • Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require additional credit card documentation. • A Minnestay Rental Agreement must be signed prior to arrival. This will require that you provide us with your email address. Please inquire about the terms and conditions prior to booking. This includes e-cigarette and vape. • This property may have a noise monitoring device on the interior of the home. Additional noise monitoring devices may be located in gathering spaces on the exterior of the home, as well. • No events! This home is designed for families and responsible adults. Restrictions include, but are not limited to: Weddings and wedding celebrations, bachelorette/bachelor gatherings, and reunions. • Dogs only allowed with “Pet Friendly” listings. Please provide prior notice to Minnestay team if you plan to bring your pet. Pet fee required (fee dependent on dog count, starting at $150). • Please note that you are staying in a private home and not a hotel. We expect that you will treat it with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to resolve them as quickly as we are able. • Consumable amenities provided by Minnestay are not refilled during stay. • Quiet Hours: 10PM-7AM.
