Posada Maya Maná - Xanuana and Hugo

Utz epejtiik traveler! If you come to San Juan, it's to rest, climb the volcanoes, or soak in the majestic Atitlán. The MANÁ inn is a family space surrounded by nature where you can also immerse yourself in the Tz'utujil culture. The space Posada Maya Maná is a tranquil and silent place where our dog and Linda (the most beautiful cat in the whole of Solalá) walk around. We believe in looking after Mother Earth so, for instance, we recycle organic and inorganic wastage. Depending on your wishes, our guesthouse has four different rooms: Xwuaan, Lecho, Casia and Teres. Lecho is a room with a double bed and private bathroom (warm shower and toilet). There are also two toilets and showers on the outside which are shared with the rest of the guests. Guest access The posada has a living room with sofa’s and a TV, wifi and a big equipped kitchen, an outdoor patio with zen and hammock and a Temazcal (sauna). During your stay We will be at your disposal for anything you need, but we will always respect your space. There is a laundry near the inn but you can also give us the clothes and a lady from San Juan comes to wash them by hand. The price is much lower for you but the contribution for her is very important. And the clothes are cleaner than ever! Other things to note The inn is next to the San Juan market. Ideal location to buy fruit and vegetables in the morning. Connected to it is our good friend Mike's Fé restaurant, a delicious place to dine (with a wood-fired oven)! The neighborhood is quiet and its people friendly. It is ideal for resting without the hustle and bustle of San Pedro, but at the same time, it is close enough to walk (2.5km) or take a Tuk-Tuk in 5 minutes.
