Description

Apartment in romantic beach villa in "Costa de la luz/ Zahara de los Atunes, Andalucia" The space The villa is located on the “Costa de la Luz – Coast of Light” and belongs to the street of Gibraltar, also called the “Pillars of Hercules”. The strait was described by the ancient Greeks in antiquity as "The western end of the world." There is the beach, "Playa de los Alemanes" or "Agua enmedio." 40 km west is the 3000-year-old city of Cádiz, founded by the Phoenicians. The Cape of Trafalgar is 25 km west, and gives the name of the famous "Trafalgar Square" in London. In the vicinity, you can visit caves from the Paleolithic period. The Roman ruins “Baelo Claudia” are on the neighboring beach, Playa de Bolonia. Tarifa is the wind and kitesurfing mecca of many water sports enthusiasts and one of the most attractive European spots. The village, Zahara de los Atunes, has become one of the most popular destinations in Andalusia. Year after year, more and more local as well as international tourists are drawn here. The name of this place, not far from the southernmost tip of Europe, has its origin in the tradition of tuna fishing, which is carried out here according to the millennia-old method of Almadraba. Untouched and far from the beaten path, Zahara has preserved its roots, and so you can still enjoy the flair of an authentic fishing village and the friendly and unmistakable character of the local inhabitants. The miles of white sandy beaches, the crystal-clear ocean and the special microclimate form the irresistible charm of this region. The hospitality, the varied cuisine with freshly caught fish, the numerous sports and leisure activities such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, diving, hiking, cycling, golf, horseback riding on Andalusian horses, watching eagles and Wahle in Tarifa promise an unforgettable vacation. The apartments, which are located in the villa, are surrounded by a well-kept natural garden, with palm trees, olive trees and pine trees. Our vines offer a shady spot on the terraces, with direct views of the street of Gibraltar and Africa. Through our garden, you can reach the beach on a private path (about 1 minute on foot). The beach, also called 'Agua enmedio', has been chosen among the top 5 most beautiful beaches in Spain, as this is still an insider tip. The lighthouse 'Faro de Camarinal' can be reached on foot, via a path, from the beach. Fantastic sunsets, in all seasons, make this a spectacular experience. From here, you can see Tarifa, Bolonia and, with good visibility, Morocco and the Atlas Mountains inland.
