Be surrounded by nature in ultimate comfort. Our 16 acre property is the perfect romantic getaway or place to unwind after a day in The New River Gorge National Park. Your fully furnished 16ft bell tent was tastefully designed with you in mind. You’ll enjoy a large deck with Solo stove, and your site is located over 75ft from any other campers. Since your tent has power, AC, a long list of amenities, like towels and bedding, all you have to do is show up! Snag the hammock, kick back and relax. The space You'll be staying at our serene forested property known as The Hill - New River Gorge. Your bell tent, Blackberry Blossom, is equipped with many of the comforts of home. From cozy bedding, sheets, and towels, to a coffee cart with campstove and many of your everyday kitchen needs. A kettle and coffee pour over are also provided for that morning pick me up. Our tents have power so you can run the AC or space heater, use the minifridge and charge your devices as needed. In your personal outdoor space you’ll enjoy a private deck with a smokeless Solo fire pit, Adirondack chairs, as well as a hammock nearby for ultimate relaxation. Your tent does not have Wifi, but cellular service is very good everywhere on the property. Guest access Shared amenities at The Hill include picnic tables with a gas grill and basic cooking supplies. We also have several nature trails and a creek on the property for you to explore (bonus points for those who find our hidden gnomes along the way). Eco-friendly toiletries are provided in our shower house and restrooms where you’ll have access to an indoor shower, an outdoor shower, two toilets, two sinks, and a dish washing/water fill station. A dedicated gravel parking area is provided for guests. Free firewood is located in the woodshed adjacent to the parking lot. Other things to note While we typically require a one day notice for bookings, we can sometimes accommodate same day requests. Your glamping tent is one of three glamping bell tents located on our private 16 acre property. Here at The Hill NRG, we’ve worked hard to create a beautiful escape for you to enjoy while striving to maintain an eco-friendly, sustainable property. Given our remote location, we rely on filtered well water to supply all of our water needs. Our dog, Meesha, is very friendly and ready to greet you. She can be leashed upon request. We also have two outdoor barn kitties. Thank you for helping us keep our place pet friendly. Please be prepared to walk your belongings down a hill to your tent pad accommodations. The parking lot, picnic, firewood and shower house/restroom area are all at the top of the hill. It is less than 70 steps from the top of the hill down to your tent pad stairs. Like most of West Virginia, trails can be slippery in wet conditions, so bring proper footwear to get around and enjoy your adventures in the woods. We’ve added a small space heater, extra fleece blanket and a duel control mattress pad warmer to help keep you warm on those chilly nights.
