Imagine yourself surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and the fresh aroma of coffee plantations when you wake up every morning. Enjoy quiet days exploring trails, visiting a stream and waterfall within the property, savoring fresh local coffee or simply relaxing by the fireplace under the starry sky. The space Cabana do Café is located just 180 km from São Paulo, in the city of Cambuí (MG). For people who like tranquility and peace, it is an ideal place to "disconnect" from the hustle and bustle of big cities on the weekend and enjoy a space with charming landscapes. Around the cabin, there is a trail that runs along a stream with a picnic area and a small waterfall. In addition, there is the possibility of enjoying local beauties such as lunch in the charming cities of Monte Verde (MG) or Gonçalves (MG), which are about 1 hour from the location. MAIN DISTANCES São Paulo (SP): 180 km Monte Verde (MG): 61 km Gonçalves (MG): 40 km The Cabana was built by a family that sought to get closer to nature and its cycles, and so they started planting olive trees for the production of olive oil and then coffee. Thus, you can walk around the property and get to know our coffee plantation and also visit the olive grove that is on the property next door. When you stay here, we will indicate a series of suggestions for tours to get to know the rural tourism of Minas Gerais: lunch with local food, visit to the still, organic strawberry plantation, cheese factory, dulce de leche factory, among other spaces. For those who like to walk and bike, it is possible to hike on the roads around the site. However, it is good to prepare your legs (it's a mountain, right!). The Cabana accommodates up to 4 people: 2 people in a queen size bed and 2 people on the sofa that turns into a bed in the living room (recommended for children and teenagers). NOTES The cabin and chalet are located on a rural property in the mountains, within the Serra Mantiqueira. There are animals that roam freely around the property, such as cows, horses, chickens, cats... ATTENTION *Please indicate the correct number of guests at the time of booking. ** If you are bringing a pet, please indicate this in the reservation (pet fee) FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1) Do I need to bring bed and bath linens? No need, we already make that available. 2) What are the check-out times? Is it possible to change? Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. and check-out is at 12:00 p.m. Depending on the reservations before and after your chosen date, we can make the times more flexible. Depending on the time of arrival or departure we have an additional fee. We can only confirm this the day before the reservation. 3) Is there a restaurant nearby? Delivery? Do you offer breakfast? We do not have on-site meal service and there are no delivery services (rural area). The nearest restaurants are about 25 minutes away. To better enjoy the accommodation, we recommend bringing food to cook in the chalet itself (full kitchen). IMPORTANT NOTICE/ FOR PERIODS OF PROLONGED DROUGHT In times of prolonged drought, the use of the fire pit (outdoor area) is prohibited. Even small sparks can ignite fires in vulnerable areas. At this time, the use of bonfires is prohibited. This safety measure is crucial to mitigating environmental impacts and protecting lives and nature. In the rainy season, we recommend using a 4x4 vehicle. In the dry season, any car can get there. Note: we offer a 4x4 service to reach the property (subject to availability/price on request) SECURITY CAMERAS The property has security cameras outside (parking, gate entrance and outdoor common areas) RULES FOR PETS When taking your Pet during your stay, please kindly: - Do not let your pet on the sheets and blankets we provide in the cabin. - If you want to use towels and sheets for your pet, please kindly bring them from home. - Do not let the pet relieve itself inside the cabin. - In times of heavy rains, please bring a hygienic mat in case the pet needs to relieve itself inside the cabin. - Around the cabin, we have a wooded area and land; please clean your pet's paws before entering the cabin. - We'll leave some cloths available for this. - In rentals with pets, we leave the sofa with a protective cover. Please do not remove it during the entire stay. SOME PRECAUTIONS The cabin is located in a dense forest area with wild animals. We recommend keeping your pet with a leash and close to you. The pet fee is charged for extra cleaning of the chalet and bedding, but does not involve damage caused by the animals. So, if something happens, please let us know.
