It's the perfect setting for dog walking. They are happy to share tips and ideas on places to visit. Rey, one of your hosts, is a talented photographer who has traveled extensively across the world. He can provide recommendations for stunning photo spots and, during your stay, you can even book a photo session with him. Rey offers surprise proposal and engagement photography, as well as couple’s sessions, to capture your special moments. Please keep in mind that this is a two-story home and your hosts live upstairs with two dogs. We've done the best we can to insulate the space when we remodeled the house, but you may still hear footsteps from our dogs or other noise from upstairs. We respect quiet hours for your comfort. Please keep this in mind when booking your stay with us. >> AGE REQUIREMENT << The user with the Airbnb account booking The Brownie must be 25 or older. >> IDENTITY << We reserve the right to ask for your ID at any time during your stay to verify that the guest identity matches the Airbnb profile. >> NO GUESTS OR EVENTS << We do not allow you to host gatherings or events in our residence. No additional guests allowed. Only the guest(s) on the Airbnb reservation are allowed at our property. No extra guests. The fee for unauthorized extra guests is $50 per person per day and if you go over the four-person limit there is an additional $500 fee. No exceptions. >> ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES << Check-in is at 4 pm, and check-out is by 11 am. While early check-ins can't be guaranteed due to potential same-day check-outs, we'll inform you on the day if it's possible. When leaving the unit, please close and lock the windows and lock the sliding door. >> PARKING << One parking space is available on a gravel pad directly next to The Brownie's entrance. Do not park on the carport or on the grass. Ensure the gate is closed completely for the safety of our dogs. The property is in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Additional parking for secondary vehicles, camper vans 12ft and under, and small trailers may be available for an additional fee; please inquire first to be sure we can accommodate. >> NO SMOKING POLICY << For the comfort of all guests, smoking/vaping or e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited inside the house or within 50 ft of the premises. Any evidence of smoking will incur an additional violation fee of $500 to deep clean the property. Smoking is allowed near the wooden swing. >> PETS—DOGS ONLY << We are happy to host families with up to two dogs. Unfortunately we are unable to allow cats due to host allergies. We require that all dogs have outgrown the puppy stage, are fully vaccinated, and housebroken. We do not accept puppies. A dog bed and bowls are available for their comfort. Please be respectful and pick up after your pets. Please keep your dogs on a leash while outside for the safety of all our dogs. We have a fully fenced yard on 3/4 of an acre. >> QUIET HOURS FROM 10 PM-8AM << Respect our home and maintain a noise-conscious atmosphere after 10 pm. >> INTERNET ROUTER MUST STAY PLUGGED IN << For the safety of guests, the internet router must stay plugged in at all times, barring a service interruption where the router needs to be reset. If we determine with our internet service provider that a guest has unplugged the router, penalties will apply, which may include a fee and/or the immediate termination of your reservation without refund. >> NATURE IS ALL AROUND << We are surrounded by mature Douglas fir trees with cedars, maples, and others. This invites a lot of wonderful wildlife, like deer, rabbit, birds, and squirrels. It also brings some not-so-welcome visitors, such as spiders. Please keep in mind that they do make their way inside the house, especially during "spider season" in the fall and spring. We are happy to assist with spider removal if we are home. Guest access Guests have access to the laundry room for the washer and dryer and cleaning supplies. No access to locked closets or cabinets. Other things to note Cell phone service can be spotty in our neighborhood due to the many mature trees, so we recommend taking screenshots in the Airbnb app before arriving.
