The condominium area is freely accessible and includes several patios with traditional Portuguese pavement, consisting of flower beds built on a basalt stone wall, with seasonal/traditional flower ornaments and also a leisure area with a ping-pong table. In addition to the patios, we invite you to enjoy the garden area, right next to the pool. Our reasonably sized swimming pool is freely accessible, with a sunbathing area around it. We believe we have the conditions for you to have a peaceful vacation, whether as a couple or even for small families with up to 2 children. The apartment is a 1-bedroom, in the living room there is a sofa bed suitable for children, allowing a maximum of 4 people to stay overnight, however it is recommended to occupy 2 adults and 2 children. The accommodation is located in the city center, with several restaurants and bars nearby, the Casino da Madeira, the emblematic Santa Catarina Park, all within a 2-minute walk. The nearest hospital is a 10-minute walk away, with a pharmacy halfway there. Access to private, covered parking. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire unit and the common areas of the property, and may, for reasons of force majeure, be conditioned and/or prohibited from using certain areas, zones or common amenities of the property. Other things to note Under Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (e.g. passport, identity card). A Municipal Tourist Tax of €2.00 per person per night is due, up to a limit of 7 nights. The Municipal Tourism Tax is waived for children under 13 years of age. The Municipal Tourism Tax is charged by opening a case in the Airbnb Resolution Center. The Municipal Tourism Tax is a legal obligation and reverts entirely to the Portuguese State, being one of its revenues. Check-in must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Scheduling with less than 48 hours will be subject to the availability of our team. Check-in has a 60-minute tolerance of the scheduled time. After the 60-minute tolerance, guests will be subject to check-in rescheduling. Rescheduling the check-in has an additional cost of €25 (unless the reason is not attributed to the guest). Bed linen and towels are provided in all accommodations. A crib and high chair can be installed upon request. Intermediate cleaning is at extra cost and is carried out on a weekly basis or another agreed-upon frequency. Intermediate cleaning includes changing bed linens, towels and consumables. For Hygiene and Food Safety reasons, food items are only left at the guest's request, at an extra cost. The establishment is for the exclusive use of registered guests, and the entry and stay of any persons other than registered guests is prohibited.
