Private Room in Historic 1915 Craftsman Home
Description
In our historically designated home is the stylishly furnished guest bedroom with a private balcony and a separate bathroom next to the room. There’s no more perfect neighborhood than the centrally located University Heights. The house overlooks a lovely canyon with tall trees and mature plants. The residential street is quiet & safe with free street parking. You'll also be minutes away from Hillcrest, Downtown SD, Balboa Park, Mission Valley hotels & shopping, the airport, beaches & the zoo. The space This 1915 historically designated Craftsman has two private decks overlooking a quiet and serene canyon. This space is a birders paradise! Please feel free to use my binoculars to watch the hawks, owls and migratory birds. Come alone or with a friend, this queen size bed fits two comfortably. Sheets, towels (bath and beach), hair dryer and toiletries are available. Window air conditioner and a room heater available when San Diego experiences imperfect weather. Guest access Feel free to use your laptop or tablet, hang your clothes in the walk-in closet and enjoy the sunrise on your private cozy balcony. The use of the kitchen amenities (Nespresso machine, dishwasher, refrigerator and 1955 O'Keefe Merritt gas stove) are available. Warm up in the winter by the fire in the living room or enjoy a cool drink while on the decks admiring the evening sky. During your stay I recently retired and will be home off & on during your stay. I’m also quite familiar with the surrounding communities and am available to answer questions you may have to ensure you have a fantastic visit to San Diego. My primary space is on the opposite side of the house away from the guest area. Other things to note The house has the original 1915 hardwood floors in all rooms covered partially with area rugs.
