Discover the beauty of Muskoka in this charming lakeside retreat! This four-season cottage has been newly updated and offers stunning views of the tranquil Nine Mile Lake. With much of the lake surrounded by crown land, it's an ideal spot for paddling adventures. The cottage features a shallow entry for easy swimming and deep water around the dock, making it perfect for docking motorized boats. We provide two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddleboard for your enjoyment. The space • Spacious 3-bedroom abode by the water. • Master bedroom: King bed, ensuite bathroom (accessible from the hallway as well), TV, ceiling fan. • Second bedroom: Small bedroom, Queen bed, ceiling fan • Third Bedroom: Small bedroom, Queen bed, ceiling fan • Study: Sofa – Offers stunning lake vistas. • Kitchen: Fully stocked with a dining set for six. • Dining area: Open space combined with kitchen and living room. Dining table for 6 . Beautiful views of the lake. • Living area: Equipped with two large sofas, three comfortable armchairs and ottomans, TV, and ceiling fan. • First Bathroom: 3 pieces with shower, brand new, porcelain tiles, accessible from both master bedroom and hallway. Doors can be locked to be used either as an ensuite or as a shared bathroom • Second Bathroom: brand new with porcelain tiles, 3 pieces with shower • Note: The water is treated with a UV filtration system, making it safe for cleaning and hygiene, but it’s not recommended for drinking or cooking. Outdoor Features: • Spacious deck: Dining set and pergola with mosquito netting • Dock: Natural, rocky shoreline leading to a 9-foot-deep swimming area from the dock. Guests could bring their own watercraft. • Beach: There is a small, private, shallow entry with sandy bottom in front of the boathouse as shown in the pictures • Parking: Ample space, including room for a trailer. • Security: Two outdoor cameras for safety. Neighboring Marina: Provides easy access for launching personal watercraft. Guest Amenities: • Kitchen: Comes with all necessary cookware and utensils. • Dishwasher: Septic friendly pods are provided. • Water: Is NOT potable. Filtered through 3 filters, tannin filter, sanitized through a UV filter. An 18-litre jug is provided to be used with an electric pump; additional water can be purchased at the marina or at Foodland in Bala. • Amenities: Salt, pepper, spices, drip coffee maker and Nespresso machine. We provide a limited supply of coffee and tea to cover for the first day; guest to bring their own. • Comforts: Bedding and bath towels included. All mattresses new (2024). • Outdoor cooking: Brand new Webber propane BBQ. • Water activities: 2 kayaks, one canoe, one paddleboard, and floaties (life jackets for adults provided). Winter Guests: • Snowshoes: Two pairs available for exploring the snowy landscape. • Snow removal: Equipment provided for self-service in case of heavy snowfall. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole cottage, boat house, deck, dock, beach, canoe, kayaks, paddle board Other things to note • Location: From the Nine Mile Lake Marina follow the signs for 1210 Nine Mile Lake Road looking for unit 32. The cottage is located at the end of a private road that undulates through the forest. Instructions: as soon as you pass Nine Mile Lake Marina take right on the first bifurcation towards 1210; then take left at every subsequent intersection all the way to the cottage. • Internet: Equipped with Bell Satellite Internet. • Marina Proximity: Conveniently close for additional services.
