Welcome to Muskoka Lake Hideaway, a 4-season cottage for couples, a family getaway or small group of friends. For outdoor adventures, explore Arrowhead, Limberlost & visit Huntsville for restaurants, breweries & local amenities. The space Just down the road, go for an excursion through Limberlost Wildlife Reserve, for free forest & lakeside trails. Coastal vibes and mid-century modern comforts with beautiful water views from every room. This vintage cabin has been lovingly restored and reimagined for the modern world, while maintaining its original charm. Outdoors, activities surround the cottage. The front yard includes a lake & forest view hot tub in the screened gazebo, fire pit & bbq, year round. Seasonally, enjoy lakeside for swimming, water activities, lounging & waterfront bonfires. NOTES: • The cottage is part of a lakeside community, mixed with part-time cottagers and full-time residents. • This is a 2-story, split-level cabin. The upper level is open concept with living, dining, kitchen & lakeside balcony. On the lower level, there are 2 lake view bedrooms & full bathroom. • The waterfront is accessed by a stone path with roughly 40+ granite steps to the multi-level dock on the lake. Access to the lake is not maintained during winter/snow season. Enjoy at your own risk. • Watercraft & partial dock removed approx. end of October (or weather permitting). • Indoor gas fireplace accessible fall to spring. • There is a maximum, 4 person occupancy. Guests must be registered on the Airbnb app. • No unauthorized guests, weddings, events, photo sessions or shoots permitted without prior consent. We are open to various possibilities but they need to be discussed in advance. • We have a no pet policy. Please, you do not need to ask. We appreciate that there are many great pets but we don't make exceptions. Thank you for understanding. • Surcharges may be applied for non-compliance of house rules. Getting Around: • Approx. 2.5 hours from Toronto Within 8 to 20 minute drive: • Town of Huntsville for everything you could need, from supplies to waterfront patios, restaurants, local breweries, bakeries & charming local shops. • Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve, has free access, all year round. Go for a hike, borrow our snow shoes or bring your cross-country skis to take through one of several forest and waterfront trails. • Arrowhead Provincial Park has year-round access with beautiful vistas, forests & lakes. Hike, swim, canoe, fish & mountain bike. In the winter, try snowshoeing, tubing, 33 km of trails for cross country skiing or the 1.3 km ice skating path, through the forest. Rentals available/check website for hours & openings. • Hidden Valley for skiing, snowboarding & terrain park.
