Knutebo - Hytte

Relax at this traditional, unique Cabin with IR-Sauna, a wood-fired hot tub, and closeness to the sea, forest, and mountains. In the nearby area, you'll find loads of hikes in forests, mountains and along the fjord. The Cabin is excellent for families or couples wanting a relaxing "spa weekend" with a hot tub, a dip in the nearby "Kulp," and some heat in the IR Sauna followed by a facemask and a footbath. The Cabin is our favorite place in the world, so please take good care of it. The space The main floor holds one bedroom with bunkbeds, a large bath with a vacuum toilet a wash, a shower, and an IR Sauna, as well as an open kitchen/livingroom area. From the hallway, there are steep stair up to the second floor, which has two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a small queen-size bed and a single bed. There is also a small living room/chill-out area on the second floor. There are also two single beds in the annex. Howeve the annex is due for renovation and is currently not isolated, so it can get quite cold there at night. Next to the annex is a shed, which is off-limits to our guests as this is where we store all our tools and personal belongings when we rent out. On the outside, there is a large patio with some sofas, tables, benches, and a wood-fired hot tub. Just behind the Cabin, there is a kulp (small puddle) and a river where you can have a bath. This is also where the water to the cabin comes from. The path to the "Kulp" is lit up at night, which makes it really cozy. If you follow the path across the river and "Kulp," you will get to our neighbor's beautiful Korean Garden, which you are welcome to visit. The Cabin also has boat house. The boat house is not in very good condition at the moment, but you are welcome to visit it. You will find some SUP boards and basic fishing equipment here that you can use. We are constantly doing improvements on the cabin and in the garden, so It might not look exactly like on the pictures (for the better). Guest access The entire cabin with exception of the shed is made available to our guests. Other things to note This is our private family cabin, and sometimes there will be personal belongings here or some dried goods. It is not recommended to drink the tap water as it is not treated. The host will supply approx 30 liters of drinking water per stay, and/or you can fill at a drinking water station 1 km away if you run out. bedsheets + linen + towels (1 per person) is included in the rental fee Fire-wood for the hot tub is included in the rental fee. No parties, commercial filming or events is allowed. We do not rent out to younger groups. We are contantly doing work to improve the Cabin and the surroundings, so the pictures in the ad may differ from reality (in most cases for the better)
