The space Gallery View is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom modern, boho-chic apartment located in the vibrant heart of Santurce, Puerto Rico. Perfect for families, friends, or business travelers, our stylish retreat offers a blend of comfort and luxury with all the amenities you need for a memorable stay. This location is known for its eclectic mix of art, music, and cuisine, and you will have it all within walking distance or just a short ride away! The unit includes a washer and dryer, perfect for an extended stay! IMPORTANT NOTE: NO ELEVATOR Please be advised that this building does not have an elevator, and this amenity is not selected on our listing. Access to all floors is by stairs only. This unit is located on the 2nd floor, requiring approximately 20 steps to reach. We appreciate your understanding and encourage guests with mobility concerns to plan accordingly. IMPORTANT NOTE: NO PARKING Please be aware that there are no 24-hour parking garages nearby, and street parking is limited and often challenging to find, especially during peak hours. For this reason, we do not recommend renting a car for your stay at this property. We 100% recommend using Uber for getting around the area. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us before booking. LIVING AREAS Relax and unwind in the spacious living area, complete with a comfortable seating arrangement and a large TV for your entertainment. Step out onto the balcony to enjoy the vibrant city, perfect for a morning coffee or evening relaxation. The living area seamlessly connects to the dining space, making it ideal for socializing and spending quality time together. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Gallery View features three beautifully decorated bedrooms, each with a cozy queen bed and its own TV. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, everyone will have their own private retreat to rest and recharge. The master bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom for added convenience. The 2nd bathroom is located in the hallway. PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability. KITCHEN Gallery View has a top-notch kitchen! The stone countertops and modern white cabinets give it a truly fresh look. It has beautiful new cabinetry and is stocked with cooking pots and pans and all kitchen utensils. It also has a full-size fridge, microwave, 4-burner stovetop, oven, toaster, and coffee maker. You will love to cook your favorite meals in this fantastic kitchen. GETTING AROUND We recommend moving around via Uber if staying within the general San Juan/Metro area. If you plan to rent a car to explore the island, this property **DOES NOT** have parking. LOCATION Gallery View is located in Santurce, Puerto Rico. This is considered a trendy and upcoming location in San Juan. From Gallery View, you are within a 10-minute drive away from the sand, and within walking distance of great dining options Explore local art galleries, enjoy live music at nearby venues, and savor the diverse culinary offerings ranging from traditional Puerto Rican dishes to trendy fusion cuisine. Don't miss a visit to La Placita, a lively market and nightlife hub where you can experience the local flavor and dance the night away. Forget the rental car — from here, you can easily walk or Uber to many places! The apartment is approximately 10 minutes from the airport, and restaurants, parks, supermarkets, pharmacies, and shops. THINGS TO DO There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites: Take a short Uber ride and enjoy your day at the beach. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and coolers for a long day at the beach. Several beaches to choose from! Ocean Park, Isla Verde Beach, Condado Beach, and Escambrón Beach. A Street Art Tour of Santurce - Colorful, vibrant, and artsy, that is Santurce! Reminiscent of Miami's Wynwood Arts District or Chicago's West Loop, this San Juan district's fizzy personality is the result of a community of artists coming together year after year to "fix-up" a forgotten neighborhood. The community of artists grew into a movement motivated by the idea that art can change and heal buildings as well as people. The Condado Lagoon is just a 5 minute walk away! We highly recommend renting a paddle board and enjoying a nice relaxing day at the lagoon. It also has a wonderful jogging trail surrounding the Lagoon which is fantastic. Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship. Spend a day in Old San Juan. The apartment is a 10-minute drive away from the oldest city in all of the US. There’s a lot of history to be seen and great food and drinks to be had. Visit Distrito T-Mobile to grab a bite & drinks, relax at the VIP Caribbean Cinemas Movie Theater, or visit the Toro Verde Urban Park. Other things to note STARTER AMENITIES At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay. All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest. We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include: - 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom) - 3 garbage bags - 1 roll of paper towels - 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom) - 1 dish soap - 1 dish sponge - A small amount of laundry detergent Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay. Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that. If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule. If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival. Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you. INSTANT & LAST-MINUTE BOOKING POLICY Instant Booking is available if reserved at least 2 days before check-in. For same-day or next-day reservations, availability depends on our cleaning schedule. You’re welcome to send a booking request, but please note that this does not guarantee the unit is booked—all requests must be reviewed and approved by our team. Requests sent late at night may not be reviewed until the following day, and same-day bookings are usually not accepted after 6:00 PM. We appreciate your understanding! HOUSE RULES NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated. NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors. UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 6 adults/children at all times, including visitors. OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund. TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items. TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated. SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted. TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues. Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased.
