Cottage no 4 - Sanctuary Andamans hilltop cottage

A delightful large private cottage in a 2 acre forested hilly property with a fabulous bedroom, living and private bathroom. The space Open plan spaces, indoor-outdoor living amongst the trees..Our guests have been known to forget all the plans they make and spend their entire time in the premises itself! No AC's. Fans Yes. mosquito nets on all beds ofcourse. Spacious private bathroom below the cottage. You can relax anywhere on the premises..including around the rainwater reservoir ..the kitchen veranda is where meals are served. Please note, as visible in images. There are no Mesh windows. Its like living in a large tree house. But private, comfortable and delightful. The walk from the kitchen to the room is quite a few steps. If you have knee problems and need room service and are scared of an occasional lizard this is not the place for you:) Guest access You have access to the entire premises, the beach is a few seconds away. If it wasnt for the gazillion trees we planted you could clearly see the ocean. There is a housekeeper who makes light and healthy - non spicy Indian food for lunch. Breakfast is eggs/toast/indian bread.. with great coffee, juice depending on whats in season, tea, fresh coconuts and more.. There is a serene dining area attached to the kitchen. No meals in room. Other things to note Tropical islands, so you cant avoid the mosquitoes. Bring repellant!! They come in great numbers at sunset. thats the time to be at the beach. The wandoor beach is famous for the most spectacular sunsets . it's dark by 540pm every day. there is a restaurant a minutes walk away called sea princess, by the beach, where our guests go for dinner. unless you have pre ordered BBQ at Sanctuary. No meals in rooms as this is a jungle and we dont want to invite non humans into the room! sometimes electricity goes. there is no airconditioing. there are plenty of fans. most of the time you dont need them.
