The space We live on a 104 hectare farm, at the foot of a beautiful mountain range with cascading waterfalls and a flowing river when we are blessed with sufficient rain fall. We are situated exactly between Bonnievale and Swellendam. Interesting tastings in a 50 kms radius from our place include Cheese, Olives and Olive Oils and Berry Liqueurs as well as Wine of course . Swellendam, the third town to be established in the Western Cape, is 23 kms away, a place with many attractions: The Marloth Nature Reserve which boasts 80 kms of trails from which to choose from. Interesting museums which span throughout many well preserved buildings. The Delightful Faerie Sanctuary established 30 years ago. Bicycle races through the year on its beautiful routes. Weekly Saturday morning farmers market. Many great restaurants... Guest access You are free to wander anywhere around our 104 hectares farm with its' 5 dams. Breakfast, lunch and /or dinner can be requested if desired, during which you may join our small community, or you can be served a meal privately if you prefer. During your stay We are a small community of people and live busy lives but Mariejo or Paula are absolutely available if you have any questions or request. Mariejo gives a 90 to 120 minutes Health class on the 5 Elements. You will do some gentle body stretching, experience a deep relaxation and practice core breathing, which is the foundation to our Meditation practice. You are welcomed to request a session. Other things to note Being close to the mountain, a Nature Reserve, we share our space with inhabitants of the natural world. We have a vibrant insect and bird life and baboons and snakes are fairly frequent passersbys... In our ten year experience of living here, we have never been harmed in any way.
