Nannilam Organic Farm is a great place to spend your time in peace and tranquil. You can learn about living along with nature. We strive to sustain ourselves from getting everything within the farm to eat, especially organic food. Great place for authentic traditional Tamilnadu food. You can also go for hiking and cycling (biking) Offers you excellent opportunity to learn the real rural life. All background people are welcome to this real rural experience The space Our rooms are built with materials which can be dismantled and re used. We have also used Bamboo boards to support the tribals community which is engaged in making them for their sustenance. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated. We have places for Barbecue and outdoor games. During your stay As a host most of the time I will be there to help you understand our Nannilam Organic farm. Other things to note • We encourage family and corporate groups with families. We would like our guests to have lots of fun. Before that, we would like to mention few guidelines/House rules before the guests check-in. • The farm house as well as the entire property is covered under CCTV surveillance. Security guards are 24X7 on duty. Ensuring your & our safety, is of prime importance to us. • Make sure the loudness of the music system should not create a disturbance to the neighbours & the Decibel levels should be low, the guests are responsible in case of non-compliance, however playing of music system is not permitted beyond 1000 PM in compliance of statutory laws • RO Drinking water is provided 24 Hrs limited to max 10 guests. Indian breakfast will be provided for the guest who stay overnight. • We need 12-hours prior notice to prepare lunch and Dinner. Country chickens and goat meat can be arranged. Farm grown fresh vegetables and coconuts are also available. We cook our food mostly in traditional style. Grinding of spices and dough are done only manually. Most of our food is cooked using fire wood collected from our farm. • The price for lunch and Dinner vary as per your choice and availability. • The Maximum depth of the pool is 5 feet. We urge the guests not to dive. We would like to make sure that we are not responsible for any injury incurred in the pool/ nearby the pool or anywhere in the Nannilam Organic Farm Stay premises. • Smoking in any form (Cigarettes/Hookah/ Cigars etc.) is not allowed however cigarette smoking is permitted only in the designated areas. • We do not provide towels & toiletries for DAY bookings (10 AM to 10 PM) therefore please ensure to bring your own towels if you wish to have a dip in the swimming pool • We do provide linen & toiletries for overnight stay guests only of max 10 guests. • We are not responsible for the damage or loss of your personal belongings inside our premises. • Please do not take away towels, blankets, bed linen, Projector, DVD Player. You will be charged if any of the above are found missing. • We have provided complimentary internet facility 3G/2G Wi-Fi, the connectivity/speed of internet may be not consistent and sometimes very erratic because of being located in a remote rural area, therefore the guests are requested not to be demanding and not expect qualitative internet connectivity • You can hire our bi-cycles for your day use to explore the rural area. (100 Rupees per day) • Request to use the toilets in case you are feeling nausea/ill and want to throw up. If a guest throws up on the sheets, inside the house or any of the furniture, you will incur additional cleaning charges of Rs.1000/- per location in the premises • Please do not damage the property; this includes the tableware, cutlery, crockery, linen, walls, curios, furniture. The guests are liable for the cost of damage to the property for all the above mentioned objects • Do not throw food, bottles or plastic articles into the pool, on the lawn or in the farm house premises. We also request guests to use waste bins placed in all the rooms to dispose garbage • No Drugs, Gambling and rave parties. STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED • The Care takers reside in the outhouse of the property and are available for housekeeping, maintenance & guidance ONLY. Domestic help of any nature from care takers would attract additional charges • The tariff includes facility of furniture, electricity, service charges & rent of the area. • Any deviation in adding extra person to the group over & above the actual booked persons an additional amount of Rs 1500/- person will be charged if able to accommodate • We expect the Guests to abide by the Civil Laws as applicable • Please note that as per the Tamil Nadu Alcohol (Possession for Personal Consumption) Rules, 1996. permits the legal limit of storing alcohol in your rooms to 12 bottles (750ml) of hard liquor, six each of Indian-made foreign liquor and imported spirits. You may also stock 12 bottles of beer (650ml) and an equal number of bottles of wine at home. You should obtain PERMIT from excise department in case you are carrying the quantity beyond the permissible limit, breach of Law as per Excise rules would attract legal implication, it is the Guests responsibility to adhere to the law of the land and deviations if any would be the sole responsibility & liability of the guests • Please note the entire farm house is covered under CCTV surveillance and this coverage is in the interest of security to residents/hosts & guests (CCTV recordings are automatically deleted at a particular frequency and we do respect guests privacy)
