We offer our guests advice on how to get the most out of their trip to Connemara, including advice on the must-see locations to visit, aswell as some lesser known locations with spectacular scenery. Donna is from the Netherlands and speaks fluent Dutch and some German. We are a working honey bee farm & we produce our own brand of raw heather honey. We also keep milking goats & chickens on our land. We make our own range of cosmetics & food stuffs which we sell to the general public through our honesty shop, which is located at the front of our property. Connemara's dramatic natural scenery has been used in numerous movies. We are close to filming locations for movies such as John Ford's The Quiet Man (1954), Jonn McDonagh's The Guard (2011) & a short trip to The Aran Islands where John McDonagh's The Banshees of Inisherin (2022) was filmed. Irish Language movie Arracht (2019) was filmed in nearby Lettermullan. Black '47 (2018) was filmed around the nearby Maumturk mountains. The Field (1990) was filmed in Leenane.
