My place is great for couples, adventurers, families (with children), and big groups. The space ITINERARY How to get to Lago Agrio or Nueva Loja ? It has 2 possibilities to get to Lago Agrio, the first is by plane (from Quito ~45 min.) And the second by bus (from Quito ~8 hours or any bus terminal in Ecuador). Day 1 – Quito – Lago Agrio – El Puente Flying (9:00 am) or by bus (one day before – 8 hours of travel) to Lago Agrio. Transfer from Lake Agrio to El Puente. Passport or ID registration and boarding, 2 hours canoeing on the Cuyabeno River to the Lodge. In the afternoon canoeing around the lagoon to observe birds and other animals such as the pink dolphins of the river, monkeys, etc. Night: dinner and the night walk to possibly observe night birds such as owls, and other animals such as frogs, spiders, and more insects... Day 2 – Large Lagoon After breakfast, three hours of hiking in the primary forest to see its incredible diversity, especially of birds, to learn about flora and fauna, in the use of plants for their survival. Back to camp, lunch and relaxation time. In the afternoon, sunset at the Laguna Grande with the opportunity to swim in it. Then go out in search of alligators, buoys, night monkeys, etc. Return to the lodge and dinner. Day 3 – Rio Cuyabeno After breakfast, canoeing on the river to the Siona Indigenous Community, to interact and learn about its traditions and customs, demonstration and participation in the production of Casabe, typical dish of the region made from yucca. Lunch, then visit and session with shaman to learn its secrets and ancestral knowledge of shamanism. At night dinner. Day 4 – El Puente – Lago Agrio – Quito Early in the morning: Bird watching by the river. Breakfast: trip on the Cuyabeno River to El Puente. Return to Lago Agrio to take the flight or bus to Quito.
