This enchanting property is surrounded by the lush Atlantic Rainforest and its own beautifully maintained decorative gardens. A true haven for nature lovers and chocolate enthusiasts alike. The space Vila Rosa is a return to another time when things were simpler. Rich in history, nature, and deep dark chocolate, this property offers a unique experience. Guests can enjoy bean-to-bar chocolate tours that follow the entire process of chocolate making, providing an immersive and educational journey into the world of chocolate. Guest access The main manor house and the surrounding gardens and pools are yours to enjoy. The kitchen is off limits but is open for most of the day as it functions as a restaurant for our guests and visitors to our cocoa farm. During your stay I live at Vila Rosa in Itacare and am usually around to lend a hand. Having resided here for over 15 years, I am well-acquainted with the area. Whether you're interested in exploring local restaurants, planning day trips, or seeking the best surf breaks, I am happy to point you in the right direction. Other things to note Note that we are a bit off the grid. Itacare is approximately a half-hour car ride away. Please bring cash if you need to pay for your room or food, as there are no banks near Vila Rosa, only in Itacare. Vila Rosa does not accept credit cards at the farm, only at our Chocolate Store in Itacare's town center. Cell phone coverage is very limited at Vila Rosa.
