At the same time, positioning you within moments of many incredible surroundings of Tasmania's North West. The space As you arrive at the property, you will be amazed by the spectacular views of Mount Roland and the surrounding forest. Take in the sights of the beautiful Tasmanian bushland and native wildlife, and immerse yourself in the greenery. This secluded getaway accommodates up to six guests. Mount Roland Cradle Retreat invites you to slow down and soak in every moment surrounded by nature. Cosy up inside next to the fireplace, soak in the tub with forest views, or enjoy the sight from the balconies as you take in the breathtaking view of the surrounding Tasmanian mountains and treetops. And if you’re lucky, we’ve been known to have some cute visits from our local wildlife friends! LIVING AREA As you enter the home, you’ll be greeted by a long, beautiful hallway entrance that leads into a gorgeous sunroom, perfect for lounging in. Board games, books, and all sorts of travel information during your stay are provided here. The living room is equipped to meet all your downtime needs. Two comfy sofas for chilling in front of the warm fireplace, while you watch a movie on the 65” 4K Smart TV. Or connect via Bluetooth, sit back, and enjoy some tunes through the HiFi sound system instead. KITCHEN & DINING The kitchen has everything you need to create a delicious meal or make your favourite beverage, allowing for the perfect social spot in this open concept space. Sit down for a meal at the six-seater dining table as you look out past the lounge space into the forest tree tops. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances and has everything you need to cook or set the table - a large selection of quality cookware, a sandwich grill maker, a coffee plunger, a coffee capsule machine, and much more. BEDROOMS Bedroom one, the main bedroom with ensuite, comes with a comfortable king-size bed dressed with quality bed linen, dimmable pendant bedside lights, house ducted heating and cooling, plenty of storage in the double built-in wardrobe, blockout blinds, balcony views, and the ensuite bathroom. Privacy is assured as this bedroom is set apart from the other two. The other bedrooms are divided by a second bathroom and a separate toilet. Bedroom two has a comfortable double-size bed, and bedroom three has a single bunk bed. Bedroom three also comes with a space full of children's toys, books, a portable cot, and a stand-alone highchair, for those travelling with children. BATHROOMS The home comes with two gorgeous, modern bathrooms full of natural light. Both bathrooms are equipped with everything expected and large walk-in showers. The ensuite bathroom also comes with a bathtub, perfect for soaking in as you enjoy the forest views. REST OF THE HOUSE The entire home has a fantastic ducted system, which ensures you have a comfortable stay. Additionally, the home also comes with a high-speed internet connection, and you’ll find many comfortable spots to set up in, perfect for those who require a stable connection during their stay. During your stay, you’ll see the home also comes with a fully equipped laundry - a front-loading washing machine and dryer, drying racks, iron and board, for those that wish to use it. OUTDOOR One of the property highlights is the amazing forest views from the elevated balconies, equipped with shading and an alfresco six-seater dining table. This is the perfect spot to relax and take in nature! This amazing 7.5-acre property offers you complete privacy and seclusion, fully immersed in nature! Just take a short 200m walk down to the beautiful stream that runs through the property, listen out for all the wonderful birds that love to visit, if you’re lucky, keep a look out for the local echidnas, wallabies, and pademelons, or sit back on a chair and stargaze at night! LOCATION Mount Roland Cradle Retreat is nestled at the base of Mount Roland, in the heartland of rural Tasmania's North West, with many local walking trails minutes away. For those planning on exploring the local and North West Tasmania surrounds further, this unique region offers bushwalking tracks for hiking, MTB biking, rowing, art and craft markets, open gardens, food tasting trails, music festivals, shopping, and much, much more! - Cradle Mountain, one of Australia’s most noted World Heritage Areas, is only a 45-minute drive away. This is a must-see, with so many amazing views and trails - Lake Barrington is only a 15-minute drive away, a beautiful spot to appreciate the water and enjoy some rowing - The local town, Sheffield, where you'll find all your local shops, IGA supermarket, cafes, and expected amenities, is just a 10-minute drive along Claude Road. Sheffield is well known for its outdoor gallery of Murals and award-winning Tourist Information Centre - Devonport Airport / Spirit of Tasmania is a 30-minute drive away, whilst Launceston Airport is a 1-hour 15-minute drive - We are placed right in the middle of the delicious Cradle to Coast Tasting Trail, a real treat for our foodie visitors - Some more amazing adventures include: Tasmazia (great for the kids), Mole Creek Caves, Latrobe, all 30 minutes or less away. Our favourite hidden gem is O’Neills Creek nature trail walk at Gowrie Park, less than 15 minutes away Your stay here places you in the centre of all the action, but at the same time welcomes you into your private world for when you just want to relax, put your feet up, and take in the serenity.
