Countryside farm stay

Welcome to our barn conversion which we hope will provide you with the perfect escape, a base for your countryside adventures or a bed after exploring nearby towns and cities. Located on a working dairy farm the barn was converted in 2019 into 2 separate apartments each accommodating max 4 people. At the moment only the ground floor apartment is available to guests. Perfectly located with easy access from the M1 motorway, an hours drive from Dublin and Belfast and only 8 min by car to Dundalk. The space Come stay with us and enjoy a country experience with rolling hills, mountain views and a Norman Castle within 5 minutes. The ground floor apartment is currently available and has been designed to give you all the amenities and comfort to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Each bedroom has an en-suite and the apartment sleeps 4. There is a double bed and then you can advise if you'd prefer two single beds or they can be combined to provide a super king size bed. The host lives on site and is available to give you any local tips on places to visit or eat. In just a short drive you can dine in a local family run gastro pub (Callan's Bar and Restaurant) which the host can gladly arrange drop offs and pick ups. The apartment is family friendly and toys can be provided and there is lots of space to run and explore and of course children are welcome to use the swing and slide in the garden! Guest access Eircode will be provided upon booking confirmation. If approaching from M1 (from Belfast or Dublin) take exit 17 and go towards Castleblayney. Drive for 6kms and turn right. It is the second entrance on the left. When you enter the gate the host's house is on the left. Turn right and the apartment is the building on the right. Guests can avail of free spacious on site parking. Host will meet you with keys and to provide any information needed. You have access to one apartment on the ground floor. There's a picnic area with bench and plenty of space for barbecues, of course that's weather permitting! Children are welcome to use the swing-set on the main garden area. No smoking inside. Ashtrays in situ for smoking in the areas provided outdoors.
