Lake Lintrose Self Catering Cottages are situated on the magnificent Springrove Dam in the Kwazulu Natal Midlands. We are 4kms away from the quaint little village of Nottingham Road which is on the Midlands Meanders. There are over 50 different places and things to do on the Meander. The setting is so peaceful and tranquil with wonderful fishing and beautiful views, Such a wonderful place to get away from the rest of the world, relax ,paddle on the dam and do some great fishing. The space There are two Self catering cottages, each one sleeping 8 guests. Each cottage has 3 queen size beds, one room has an en suite bathroom and then there is another bedroom with two single beds. Then there is a seperate shower and toilet and a single toilet. The Cottages have an open plan lounge, kitchen area with a fireplace inside. There is also an enclosed patio with sliding glass doors with a fireplace / braai area and a seating area for 8. We have electric blankets on the beds for the cold winter nights with extra blankets. The kitchen has all necessary cutlery and crockery plus pots, baking trays and glasses. Once you arrive you can send me a message if there is anything you need further and we can bring it down by that evening. There is also a fridge/freezer, a microwave, kettle, toasted sandwich maker and a four plated gas stove with an electric oven. We have lovely ladies who service the cottages every morning. All bedding and towels are provided. Most guests park near the cottages but there is also parking under a farm shed in case of hail or cold weather. We do welcome pets that are house trained, although the cottages are not fenced off. We look forward to hosting you on our working farm for some time to relax and switch off. Thank you. Guest access You will be able to access all parts of the cottage you have booked, walks on the farm - Once you book I can also send you some directions on a lovely dirt road that you can cycle, walk or run. Plus you have access to the dam. There is one small step on the one side of the verandah, otherwise there are no other steps.
