Tenggek Burung Retreat is a family-owned property located in Hulu Langat, approximately 90 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur City Center. Our property covers 5.9 acres of beautiful orchard land and is surrounded by lush greeneries and situated next to a river, ideal for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The space Tenggek Burung Retreat consists of 2 sets of guesthouses, within 5.9 acres of tropical orchard land and is ideal for those who want to unwind and enjoy nature. You can hang out and play board games or do yoga on the deck and garden, go camping, kayak, fish, and roast marshmallows by our private river, take a hike in the forest and celebrate the beauty of flora and fauna surrounding you. If you are looking to enjoy seasonal local fruits such as Mangosteen and Durians, then you are in luck. At peak season, you can indulge all you want! Our guesthouses are: PONDOK DAMAI - Double storey Loft - 2x bedrooms on first floor - 1x family lounge and 1x bathrooms on each floor. - Family lounge on first floor includes a TV. - Family lounge on ground floor includes a piano. - Impeccable scenery and sound of river next to the guesthouse - Fits 5 pax (3 adults and 2 children) PONDOK AMAN - Single storey Loft - 2x bedrooms - 1x bathroom - 1x kitchen - 1x family dining room with TV - Opens up to a fantastic garden view - Fits 3 pax We offer tents that are able to fit 6 pax/per tent. - Basic (tent) RM250, we have 2 available tents to be rented out - A surcharge of RM50 per head/per night will be charged for additional guests Guest access Tenggek Burung Retreat is only rented to one group of guests at one time, so you are ensured to have the whole place exclusively to yourselves. We will greet and provide you with a tour of the property and will be contactable should you require anything urgent. A suggested itinerary for a 1-night stay in Tenggek Burung Retreat: 1st Day 3pm : Check-in 3:15pm : Fishing, Kayaking 6pm : Swimming 7pm : BBQ dinner 10pm : Bedtime 2nd Day 7am : Breakfast 9am : Hill Trekking. The caretaker is available to bring you around the orchard trails 10am : Leisure free & easy 12pm : Check-out Other things to note - Please note that meals WILL NOT be provided and is therefore suggested that you are to bring your own food to prepare, or go to the restaurants nearby. - We strongly believe in living in the moment! Therefore, we do not offer Wi-fi on the property. - Only Halal food is allowed on the premises. - Early check-in and late check-out are available with a surcharge of RM50 per hour. (subject to availability) - All activities are included with the total price such as kayaking and hiking, however, if you wish to fish, you may either bring your own or rent one of ours at RM50/per rod, including fish food. There will be an additional surcharge for fish caught. - FREE Parking of up to 6 cars is available on the premises.
