Description
Note: June & July there is minor construction going on in the room next door. Message me before booking for a special discount. Air conditioning! Private street entrance & bathroom, a very large room, spacious closet, in the very centre of town, on the lake, full use of grounds and pool, view of garden, king size bed, natural down duvets with clean covers, maid service weekly, wifi, purified water system, Netflix, secure parking, coffee/tea, fridge & microwave in the room. The space The room is decorated in Mexican style but with North American amenities. It is a very private room and we have recently added optional air conditioning. We fumigate professionally regularly but it doesn’t mean that a gecko or other creature from outdoors doesn’t find its way into your room. We are in the tropics. Guest access You have complete access to our BBQ gas, all outdoor areas on the ground floor. Your own patio area in the garden with sun umbrella and comfortable chairs. The garden is so well known it is often on Garden Tours in the area. The lap pool is wonderful and available day and lit up at night. During your stay I am usually here for guests and can answer most questions about living in or moving to Ajijic. Especially from Canadians as I am Canadian and we moved here 26 years ago. I speak Spanish and English and have a full time Gardener and half time maid. Other things to note We have one little poodle and my son's French Bulldog who comes and goes. Both are sweet and lovable and are not allowed in the rooms, but if you leave your door open they may end up on the floor at the foot of your bed. If you are allergic to pet hair, please advise and we will pretreat your room. Also, it is important to know that Nov. 30th is the feast day of Saint Andrew, the patron saint of Ajijic. For ten days beforehand they have fireworks late into the night and early in the morning. If you are not used to it, you can't sleep.
