Bo’ness is home to the Hippodrome, Scotland’s oldest public cinema and recently featured in Good Omens 2, to the Scottish Railway Museum and the Bo’ness Motor Museum. Nearby are Blackness and Midhope Castles which were both used in the filming of Outlander. Slightly further afield in Falkirk are The Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel. Take a trip on the Maid of the Forth under the three bridges departing from nearby Queensferry. The apartment is fifteen minutes drive from Edinburgh airport. During the day buses leave from Bo’ness regularly for Edinburgh (approximately every hour) and other destinations in Central Scotland. The M9 is just a few minutes drive from the apartment and gives access to the motorways. Access to Edinburgh is straightforward. Although Bo'ness is 25 minutes to Edinburgh by car. You can park at Linlithgow train station (approx. 3 miles away with free parking) and take the 20-minute train ride into Waverley or Haymarket in the centre of Edinburgh. Trains leave approximately every 15-20 minutes and the last train out of Edinburgh leaves at 23.45. There is also regular tram access into the City from Ingliston park and ride where parking is free.
