The Cabanon

Relax in this quiet and elegant guest room located at the foot of the Basilica of Our Lady of Avioth. The carefully restored Cabanon, equipped with a wood-burning stove, is comfortable in all seasons. Close to Belgium, 15 km from Orval Abbey with its cheese and famous "Orval" beer that you can taste. Montmédy, its shops and its citadel known as "Ville haute" are 10 minutes drive. You can walk around the ramparts and admire the scenery. The space The accommodation has a small relaxation area including a sofa, an armchair, a coffee table, as well as a wood-burning stove for cold periods (10 m2). Right next door is the shower, sink and toilet. A window door gives access to the owners' private covered terrace and garden, both available. Upstairs, a double bed in an attic bedroom. Not suitable for people with disabilities. Guest access Access to the Cabanon is via Rue de l'Hôpital located behind our main residence on Rue des Comtes de Chiny. During your stay We can be reached at any time by phone, email, or messenger. Other things to note Breakfast, upon reservation at the price of 8 euros/person, can be served from 8:30 am. A 2 euro charcoal fee will be charged for each use of the BBQ.
