Secluded and quiet, a central base to explore the Catskills. Just minutes to all the Woodstock/Saugerties destinations, HITS, Hunter Mountain, and more. This is a private oasis in the heart of the Catskills. Features include a hot tub, fire pit, BBQ, and more to make experience one you'll never forget! The space NOTE: We accept max of 2 well behaved pets for an extra fee of $75. We kindly ask pets to stay off the beds and sofas. Our cedar cottage features open plan living, minimalist yet artful design, carefully curated books, hot tub, record player and projector screen. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood with large fully fenced yard and beautiful outdoor garden area. Close to the towns of both Woodstock and Saugerties. There is a hot tub for soaking under the stars and a hammock nearby. Relax in the Adirondack chairs while making Smore's in the fire pit, or enjoy a BBQ outside at the picnic table. The flowers throughout the garden attract hummingbirds and butterflies in the spring and summer, and our herb garden provides the perfect addition to a cocktail or meal. The extra large master bedroom has a king size bed and reading area that opens up to the deck and garden. The second bedroom is cozier with a brand new queen size bed. The house has air conditioning and heating, to provide comfort in every season, as well as a pellet stove for a fire in the living room. The landing room is set up as a place for working, writing or drawing. We are 30 minutes to Hunter Mountain for skiing in the winter, and hiking trails, lakes, swimming holes and waterfalls are close by for the warmer months. The spacious backyard is private and fully fenced in. There is a wooded area in the back that is a perfect place to spot chipmunks, deer or an owl. Guest access Make yourself at home! You will have the entire home and property all to yourself. Please feel free to explore the yard, relax on the hammock, play the guitar, discover a book, and help yourself to anything in the kitchen. Hartwood House is your very own upstate getaway for your stay! Access to the house is via electronic lock, the code is made available on Airbnb after booking.
