It has since, been revitalized and renovated top to bottom in 2022 to meet the 21st century's comforts and modern features we all love. Today, our modern "Rest Nook" is still a place where you can catch your breath, take in the natural beauty of the Catskills, and do whatever you need to have you feeling recharged and ready for whatever comes next in your journey. Surrounded by mountains, wild life, peace and quiet, we hope our home brings you the joy of relaxation, adventure, and whatever else you're looking to get out of your trip to the Catskills! Living and Movie Room: Our living room is not just any living room. By day, relax on the versatile modular sofa, bathed in natural light. By night, transform the space into a movie room with our cool projector and screen! Perfect for family movie nights or cozy evenings in. Kitchen: At the heart of the home lies our large kitchen with modern fixtures, a coffee bar and plenty of sunlight that make it a joy to prepare meals while enjoying serene views of the mountains outback. Dining Room and Bar: Our dining area offers a cozy spot for meals, complemented by outdoor views. Adjacent to this, the bar area awaits with stylish glassware, setting the stage for your evening unwind or morning tea and coffee. Bonus Room: Discover the charm of our cozy bonus room, a versatile space with a game table and a large variety of board games including chess and poker on one side. On the other side of the room, is a comfortable sofa and a vast collection of books to sit back and enjoy. Bedrooms and Den: Upstairs, our 3 bedrooms are sanctuaries of calm, 2 of them have queen size beds and one of them has a king size bed. All beds have comfortable mattresses, soft & cozy linens and flooded with natural light, offering peaceful woods and mountain views. One of the bedrooms has a desk and chair for remote work. The den provides a quiet retreat with twin bunk beds, ideal for kids or friends! Outdoor oasis: Our outdoor space is designed for maximum enjoyment. Soak in the hot tub overlooking the mountains, dine al fresco at our picnic table, or enjoy a film under the stars at our convertible fire pit/movie theater area. Location: Located in West Saugerties, our home is minutes from cultural hotspots and natural beauty spots alike—12 minutes to Woodstock, 11 minutes to Saugerties, 29 minutes to Hunter Mountain, and is close to plenty of hiking trails, local eateries, and boutiques. Our home is in a quaint mountain neighborhood on a dead end road so traffic is very minimal creating a very peaceful location. Accommodates up to 8 adults/children (+2 babies/toddlers) -Bedroom #1: Queen bed, dresser, 2 nightstands with lamps, standing mirror, 1 pack n play in closet -Bedroom #2: Queen bed, dresser, 2 nightstands with lamps -Bedroom #3: Queen bed, dresser, desk with chair and lamp, 2 nightstands with lamps, 1 pack n play in closet -Den: twin bunkbed. Please note that this is a very small room. Please treat it as if it was truly your own ;) The entire house is for you to enjoy. We only keep the closet under the stairs locked as well as the basement. We hope you feel like our home is your 'home away from home', and not just another Airbnb. If there is anything at all we can do to make your stay better, please do not hesitate to let us know! Upon booking, you will be provided with your own unique access code to the house during your stay. Other things to note HOUSE RULES (Please read before booking): We are so excited you are considering booking our beloved home! Please know that these rules are intended to protect you and our home and property. If you have any questions about any of these, please don't hesitate to ask. We are looking forward to hosting you! - Guests must read and sign our house rules prior to check-in. - Quiet hours start at 10pm. Please, please respect quiet hours as any single neighbor complaint could revoke our short term rental permit. - No parties or events. - Guests must not wander beyond property lines. - Do not leave any food outside, there is wild life that will be attracted to it if left outside. - Children must be supervised by adults are all times, both inside and outside of the house. We have tried to child proof many aspects of the house for our own children but it is not fully child proof, so please watch your children at all times. Outside, there is wild life as we are in the mountains, as well as a creek nearby, the hot tub is covered but not locked, so please ensure children are always supervised outside as well. - No shoes indoors, please. - No hiking, skiing and snowboarding equipment indoors, please use the shed to store these. - No glass by the hot tub, please use outdoor cups and outdoor wine glasses provided (these are all plastic) - Use fire pit in the property, no open bon fires allowed. - Please adhere to safety rules provided and locate the Emergency Exit Plan, located in the kitchen and each of the bedrooms. - 7 overnight guests (+babies/toddlers) are permitted, - There are two outdoor security cameras for the safety of our guests and property. One is located in the front porch facing the front door. The other is located on the shed facing the back door and covers a portion of the backyard, there is a fence around the hot tub blocking the camera view for the privacy of our guests. - All your trash should fit in the outside trash bins (which will be empty upon your arrival), they should be able to close completely. If they do not, you will have to bring any excess trash to the transfer station yourself. Failure to adhere to this will result in the transfer of the fine we will receive from the trash company to you. - Only the number overnight guests in your reservation are permitted -Do not use the kitchen counters as cutting boards, please use cutting boards provided -Kindly, please keep your dog off the beds and furniture. -Our house is on a septic system, as such we have to treat what goes down our drains a bit differently. Here are some rules we will need you to abide by during your stay: ***Only soap and water may go down the drains, even in the kitchen sink. Absolutely NO BLEACH, oils, food, harsh chemicals of any kind or any other liquids may go down the drain. ***In the bathrooms, only the toilet paper we provide may go down the toilet. ***Only use the mild soaps and detergents that we provide ***The washer and dryer can only be used for a maximum of two loads on any given day (not on average, each day) Dogs are allowed but must be included in the reservation for a small fee.
