The secluded geodome will be your home base within 60 acres of extraordinary redwood forest, ocean views, surreal rock landscapes, streams, caves, waterfalls, and winding trails dating back to logging days. When focused pursuits call, dedicated work pods offer state-of-the art offices at your disposal, ensuring your most inspired & productive days of work, ever. The space Your home base is a bespoke geodesic dome built with high-design and minimal environmental impact. Solar-powered and climate controlled (AC/heat) for year-round coziness, it sleeps up to four on two queen-size Earthfoam organic latex mattresses (exceptionally comfortable!) with linen bedding. A living jungle of passion fruit, dragonfruit, and tropical vines grow, flower, and fruit in the center of the dome, thriving on the recycled water from your stay. Dedicated Starlink internet delivers fast Wifi (generally 100+mbps) to the dome and many other regions of the property. Just steps from the dome is your private bathroom pod with a luxurious rainfall shower, toilet, and sink. At several locations around the property, personal work pods are available in beautiful, inspiring locations for easy access to focused work whenever you need it. Tucked among the trees, you’ll also find more manmade wonders; a cut flower garden, seasonal installations, and our workshop, where we’re building the spaces you're staying in (and more). The Dome is accessible from the parking lot by a short trail walk (approx. 1min) through the woods, illuminated by string lights. Other things to note The Moonside Guidebook, with information about local restaurants, events, tide charts, and reference guides, will be provided upon arrival so you can make the most of your time on the Mendonoma Coast. Living in the forest is zen, but we share this environment with plenty of wildlife. The Dome is elevated, climate-controlled, and well-sealed, but it’s Moonside, not the actual moon. Insects, the occasional wandering spotted skunk, deer, and birds are all part of our largely untouched landscape. Please respect their habitat. Pets: Pet Fees are a bummer, right? We love pets and travel with them ourselves! But we've also seen that pets in the dome cause a disproportionate amount of wear on the custom furniture, plantings, and landscape. If you are planning to bring a pet, they must be added to your booking. The fee covers the extra cleaning and maintenance after each stay that keeps the space pristine. Pets which are aggressive towards other animals, chickens, or people are prohibited. Do not leave pets unattended in the dome or outside. Due to the risk of loss, pets are required to be on-leash after dusk. We have one friendly dog - Blanche - residing on our property. You may come across her when exploring.
