It cools down considerably at night and we have found opening the screened windows in the evening makes the house quite comfortable. There are 2 closets for owners use only located in the home. One is located next to the bathroom in the hallway, the other is near the entrance door to the garage. While using the fireplace if at anytime smoke starts entering the house, please open a window near the fireplace. This is caused by negative air pressure inside the house and an open window aids in better airflow.
