On the historic estate of the Schwarzenhasel moated castle, the Wildhüterhaus has created a stylish and very cozy vacation home. On the outskirts of Schwarzenhasel, surrounded by beautiful fields, meadows and forest, we welcome our guests in the unique surroundings of the centuries-old moated castle. Whether hiking, biking, paddling or swimming in the nearby solar outdoor pool, there is room here for the perfect vacation with family or friends - or for small family gatherings. The space With 4 bedrooms and optional additional sleeping accommodations, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, and 2 kitchens, the gamekeeper's house offers plenty of space for small groups of up to 10 people. If you want to travel with a few people, please send me a request. 2 complete smaller apartments can also be rented in the house (ground floor up to 2 people, upper floor up to 6 people). I look forward to your inquiry! The garden is fully fenced. Very (!) small dogs may be able to pass under the fence. On the other property (outside the guest garden) there is an unfenced historic moat. Non-floating infants must be supervised. Unfortunately, you can't fish, swim or skate here. Guest access On the ground floor, starting from a spacious hallway with wardrobe, the open living/dining area with open kitchen, cozy reading corner and fireplace is located. Furthermore, there is an idyllic bedroom with a double bed overlooking the garden and the moat. A large bathroom with rainforest shower completes the ground floor apartment. On the first floor (or attic floor), in addition to an equally open-plan area with a living room, dining area, kitchen, and open-plan hallway with a wood-burning stove, there is one bedroom with a double bed (with a view of the fields and the garden), as well as a full bathroom with a shower or bathtub on each floor. In the attic there are two cozy bedrooms (single beds, which can also be pushed together) and another sleeping berth under the sloping roof in the hallway. From the skylight you can watch the stars here and make the bunk a cozy place to sleep through a curtain. Other things to note Our wildlife keeper house is a self-catering house. Linens, towels and dish towels will be provided. Please make the beds yourselves and collect the bed linens again upon departure. All coffee machines (one capsule machine, one fully automatic machine, and one filter machine) are equipped with a starter supply; please bring your own refills. Firewood is available. Please bring your own charcoal. Unfortunately no fishing in the moat is permitted. Basically, the village of Schwarzenhasel is connected to the bus network of the NVV. However, especially in the afternoons, on weekends, and during school holidays, buses run only at long intervals or not at all. The call center taxi partly replaces the bus.
