Lovely apartment overlooking Tromsø city and the Arctic Cathedral! Here you can live comfortably and with good opportunities to see the Northern Lights. The apartment is close to the mountain lift and the sherpa staircase. Short distance to grocery store, shopping mall and 5 minutes to the city center by public transport. We have free parking for cars, electric car chargers available. It is advisable to book a car with four-wheel drive so that you can get up the hill in the winter. Welcome to us! The space The apartment has a private entrance and comprises a living room, bedroom, bathroom, a small kitchen, a sports shed and entrance. In the living room you will find a sofa with TV and coffee table, a separate dining table and comfortable chairs with space for 4 people. Nice view of the window from the dining table. The bedroom is warm and cozy with a double bed. In the living room you will find a sofa bed that can be turned into a bed of 120 cm. Please let us know if you would like to use the sofa bed so we can add extra duvets and pillows. The kitchen is equipped with a stove and everything you need to cook good meals. You will find all the dishes in the cupboards in the kitchen. There is also a fridge with freezer, microwave, kettle and coffee press. In the bathroom there is a shower and washing machine available. There is also a drying rack for clothes and laundry items. You'll find a hairdryer under the sink in the bathroom. Outside the apartment there is a private patio with outdoor furniture where you can enjoy the view. Remember to bring warm clothes for the winter! You will find extra blankets and a lantern to have on the table inside the sports shed. Guest access The apartment has a private entrance and is without view. Nice plot with outdoor furniture outside the entrance area. Direct access to the garden where there are also play equipment for children available. Of course, you can use the outdoor areas as much as you like. It is suitable to bring children, we have small children ourselves and are happy to lend toys and equipment. Other things to note The slope to the house is somewhat steep and the bus stops below the slope. If you have a lot of luggage, we can recommend booking a taxi from the airport. You'll find a taxi just outside the airport. If you rent a car, you must ask for four-wheel drive in the winter, it can be difficult to drive up the hill without four-wheel drive if there is snow and ice on the road. We live on the top floor ourselves and have small children, it is soundproofed and we try to take the guests into account. We often travel away on weekends and the children go to kindergarten on weekdays. Shoes are not allowed indoors. This is the case in most Scandinavian homes, but we have soft and comfortable slippers in the apartment, for the use of our guests.
