Closure of highways may mean that getting to your resort and spa may be difficult or impossible. In the summer and fall, there may be wildfire smoke. These are fairly frequent seasonal events, and there are no refunds for these natural weather patterns. Other things to note You will be surprised when you taste the tap water in the Tahoe region. It's so pure, and tastes better than bottled water! I've noticed this since I was young. Also, you don't need conditioner when washing your hair in Tahoe. The water softens your hair with its magical mountain qualities. * This is my own opinion!
