Description
Fun in the country Your chance to have private use of around a third of our 1.5-acre site, including almost half of the main country hall, and our spacious domes give you and your friends a fun-filled get-together. 5+ bedrooms/exterior unit, lounge, kitchen, bathrooms, hot tub (allocated one of two), fire pits, tripod BBQ, games lawn, and sheltered games space. So light one of the firepits, party in the courtyard, or share cocktails over a beautiful sunset - Countrylife is the place to do it! The space Countrylife is our re-imagined use of our holiday cottage on the shared 1.5 acre grounds. It is self contained and occupies around half of the main Grade II Listed building which was formerly a Priory. Next to this you get our core glamping dome site, with 2-3 units (weather dependant) offering stunning countryside views. Please note this historic site is unfenced by law so unsuitable for most children or dogs. In total you get 5 or 6 sleeping areas (two of which are traditional oversized bedrooms) each with multiple beds, a kitchen, lounge / dining space and covered outdoor play space. In total we sleep around 10-30 with 7 double beds and sofa beds in the country hall and 6 double beds and sofa beds in the exterior units). The exterior units have wifi, projectors and heating (15 degrees warmer than outside temperatures). For an extra £100/night/dome we can add upto 2 more domes for more beds or exra capacity, Our nearest neighbours are over 100 metres away, so this lets our guests enjoy themselves freely, but we ask that loud music/lively chats are moved to the lounge/dining space after 10pm as its almost sound proof with 0.5 metre thick stone walls. The space benefits from dj lighting, karaoke machine and game selection to help keep everyone entertained. Located in the countryside, surrounded by historic limewood woods within a mile, and yet just 10 minutes drive from Lincoln Cathedral and City Centre. We have two award winning fishing lakes as our immediate neighbours, along with a handy daytime cafe 50 metres away. The 45 minute drive to the coast is breathtaking, passing through the Lincolnshire Wolds, with recreational activities closeby. We ask for no more than 10 cars to be parked on site, taxi's should be prebooked, and there is an hourly bus service from 7am to 9pm into the city. Guest access You have access to the site described above. The rest of the site is mainly owners accommodation which is annexed in the main building, and former agricultural buildings. Other things to note Please note that for any guest numbers over 16, an additional charge of £20 per person per night will apply. There may be road noise due to the proximity to the road. Based on guest feedback, we ask for no hen parties/no mainly female groups (stag dos are welcome). We encourage no children, as this property is aimed for adults to have a great time; the best feedback comes from our guests aged 16-45. The outdoor space for this listing is the main lawn, which measures 30 meters by 30 meters. We kindly ask that guests not explore the areas not rented! We aim to host happy guests who enjoy the charm of country life. If you're uncomfortable with cobwebs or encountering wildlife, this might not be the best fit for your stay. Thank you for understanding! Please note that if you’re looking for a luxurious or modern space, our place may not be the best fit. The building is older and has been lovingly restored to preserve its heritage charm, which means you may notice some minor imperfections such as small cracks, vintage ceilings, spider webs to be expected, or other character details typical of historic properties. If small issues might feel like a major concern to you, we kindly suggest considering other options better suited to your expectations.
