Located in a historic 1930s condo within a Natural Reserve, it offers stunning sunsets and an exceptional coastal position between Pisa and Livorno. With a furnished private patio, 2 sleeping areas, and reserved parking, it's the perfect base to explore Tuscany through seaside walks, art cities, charming villages, and renowned food and wine experiences. The space Tastefully furnished in a refined Italian style, this 60 sqm apartment offers two separate sleeping areas, a bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private outdoor space that can be enjoyed year-round. LODGE4 is designed to provide a comfortable and well-organized stay for couples or families, accommodating up to 5 guests. Guests have access to Wi-Fi, a 43” Smart TV in the living room (plus a 24” TV in the master bedroom), modern appliances, washing machine, dishwasher, and a safe, ensuring a relaxed and convenient stay. For families traveling with children, the apartment includes toys, children’s tableware, beach toys, and inflatables. Children under 2 stay free of charge, and upon request (€10/day extra) we provide a baby cot, high chair, and changing mat — for maximum comfort while traveling as a family. The fine sandy dune beach of the Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Natural Park is just steps from your front door and can be accessed directly through a private gate. Whether you prefer a public beach or a private beach club (available for a fee during summer), this location offers a truly special seaside experience. We provide beach towels, an umbrella, beach toys and inflatables for your stay. Beach season in Italy runs from mid-May to mid-September. While proximity to the sea is a major advantage in summer, the strategic location also makes this apartment ideal year-round, allowing easy day trips to Tuscany’s most beautiful art cities and charming villages, well known for their food and wine events. ➤ SWIMMING POOL – Optional Extra If during summer you prefer relaxing by the pool, a shared pool area with bar and bistro is located at the back of the building. Due to the proximity to the beach, music or noise from beach establishments may occasionally be heard during summer. Outside the summer season, the beach remains accessible but without services. ➤ The swimming pool is closed from mid-September to the end of May. Calambrone is a mainly touristic area; in spring and autumn a short drive (5–10 minutes) may be required for a wider choice of restaurants and shops. ➤ Conad supermarket just 100 meters away is open year-round! Other things to note You'll be staying right by the sea in a place that has played a role in Italian history! The main building, recognizable by its distinctive airplane-shaped layout facing the coast, is the former children’s summer camp “Principi Umberto e Maria Josè di Piemonte”, built around 1930 as a seaside residence for the children of Italian Air Force personnel of the time. In the early 2000s, the complex underwent major renovations and was transformed into an exclusive beachfront residential development, carefully preserving its original and distinctive architectural design. ・・・ Are you a movie enthusiast? You may enjoy knowing that several scenes from “The English Patient” were filmed here in the 1990s. ・・・ The Calambrone and Tirrenia Dunes WWF Natural Oasis, part of the Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Regional Park, extends over 24 hectares and includes both the sandy coastal dunes and the pine forest behind them. This protected area is characterized by rich Mediterranean vegetation and dunes reaching up to 12 meters in height, which shelter native coastal species such as beach goldenrod, sea holly, marram grass, sea carrot, helichrysum, beach spurge, and the striking sea daffodil.
