The farm is nestled in the middle of fields, beech and oak forests in a single location and yet close to excellent cuisine, art, culture (summer night comedy Rosenburg Castle, Gars am Kamp opera) and leisure (cycling and hiking trails, lakes, water sports - kayaking, canoeing, fishing, SUP; cross-country skiing, and much more). The beautiful swimming pond is only a 10-minute walk away. In Rosenburg: Climbing rocks "Hanging Stone" or "Dreamland" with about 30 routes. From 5 to 9. Also suitable for children. The space The vacation apartment with sauna is located in the front part of the courtyard and includes a cozy vaulted room with a double bed (1.40 m wide), a kitchen-living room with a Swedish stove (always plenty of wood available), a reading area (with books and games) with a pull-out sofa bed (1.40 m wide), bathroom with radiant heater and washing machine and a separate toilet. The living rooms remain pleasantly cool in summer, in winter the Swedish stove offers cozy warmth for heating yourself. Beech wood is always sufficiently available. In the bathroom (with two showers) there is a radiant heater and the washing machine. Wi-Fi on site. No TV. Guest access Simply by personal arrangement on site. Other things to note Children and animals are also very welcome because the large area offers plenty of free space to let off steam. For longer stays, even the use of the vegetable garden would be possible. Gerald could also pick up guests from public transport by car on request. On request: boat tours led by Gerald on the Ottenstein and Thurnberg reservoirs. On request: Land Rover Defender tours led by Gerald. A protected parking space is available for bicycles/e-bikes. E-bikes can be loaded. The extensive Volt bike trail borders the property. Swimming pond and beach volleyball court are a 10-minute walk and 1 minute by car.
