We believe you shouldn't be away without the comforts of home, and only a two-minute walk to restaurants, shopping, renowned art and bronzes, and the many events that our town has to offer, and only a 3-minute drive to our gorgeous and beloved Wallowa Lake offering dumb fish, boating, swimming and so much more. It's all about comfort in our 2 bedrooms and bath with fluffy and cozy king beds, big-screen Roku TV with DirecTV and all the wi-fi you will need. The bathroom is dedicated to guests with instant hot water and fluffy towels, luxury shampoo, conditioner and essentials. Enjoy the coffee bar with single-serve coffee maker, microwave, mini-fridge, glassware, etc. Self Check-In with keypad through private entrance. There is a flight of stairs up to the 2-bedroom suite. We welcome loving pets and we think they will love our big back yard to play in! Guests have access to their suite and the outside areas and furnishings on the property. We respect your privacy, but love to stop and chat. If you don't catch us on the property, we are always available by phone, text or email if you have any needs. Joseph, Oregon is a western style small town in northeastern Oregon's Wallowa County, next to beautiful Wallowa Lake. For a small town, there is so much to do whatever your tastes. Joseph has it all with everything from a renowned art community with life-size bronzes lining Main Street and literary events like Fish Trap held annually here, Chief Joseph Days Rodeo, Joseph Car Show, Thunder Run for motorcycle enthusiasts, to Wallowa Lake Tramway, a gondola that will take you to the summit of Mt. Howard where there is a restaurant with tasty treats, hiking, some of the most gorgeous views you will see in your life, to restaurants, fishing, hunting, boating, swimming, hiking, camping, a rich history ... the list goes on! We are only minutes away to all these things. Wallowa Lake is also the gateway to some of the best hiking, hunting and fishing in the world in the great Eagle Cap Wilderness and the Wallowa Mountains. Although we are at the heart of downtown Joseph with restaurants, shopping and other services just around the corner, a vehicle is recommended to take advantage of the many wonderful outdoor activities in the area. There is shuttle service between the town of Wallowa, OR and the Village at Wallowa Lake during spring, summer and fall called Community Connections running every hour. There is not a space for dining indoors, but there are great restaurants just kitty-corner from our location and within walking distance all over Joseph!
