Home in Schroon Lake

This home is the perfect family or friends getaway in a quiet neighborhood, with plenty of parking. Only a short walking distance to beautiful Schroon Lake Beach and all the town has to offer. The great outdoors is waiting here for you! Summer or winter, there's plenty to do; boating, swimming, ice fishing, snowmobiling or sledding! Explore nearby Lake George Village, Great Escape or ski Gore Mountain, all only 30min away. This Entire home is yours with 3 bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. The space You will have access to the whole private home. There is one closet that will be locked with the hosts’ personal belongings. The kitchen is equipped with all basic cooking equipment (and many extras), full size stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and much more. There is a skylight and it's open to the living room. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, night stands and dresser. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a closet. The third bedroom has a full size bed, desk, chair and closet. They are open and bright rooms! There is a patio area with a fire pit available for your use (firewood can be purchased at Stewart’s or various other private locations around). Laundry facilities are in the basement. There is also a ping-pong table & air hockey down there! The basement and yard are both works in progress. We appreciate your patience as we work to steadily make the house a more and more enjoyable experience to stay at. There is ample parking to bring your boat or jet-skis, the launch is 3 minutes away! In the winter the snow-mobile trail runs at the end of our road. Guest access You have access to all but one closet! The laundry facilities are in the basement. We have had occasional water issues during rainy weather down there :( Please let me know if that happens during your stay. Nothing a towel won’t hold at bay (I have several "junk" towels down there just in case) but frustrating all the same. Other things to note The home is on the street where the fire station is. Schroon Lake is a very quiet town but there are, of course, emergencies on occasion! The fire whistle can be startling if you don’t know what it is! Don’t be alarmed if you hear a loud whistle.
