The pre-historic Newgrange monument (older than Stonehenge!) is half hour drive away. Malahide and Skerries are lovely sea side towns nearby and the Howth Peninsula worth a visit. The area abounds with a full range of F&B outlets that should suit all tastes and a full range of shops and conveniences available within 7 miles.
